Now that you have committed to helping out with Winter Soccer, you are getting increasingly curious about what’s going on with it. Unfortunately, you are still a student. This break from FUTA is your chance to get caught up.

Kayla heads off to school, and you retreat to your old room… is it your old room? Your room, where you sit at your desk with your laptop and get to work. You have never been good at schoolwork. When you were younger, you dreamed of playing pro soccer, but you weren’t sure if that was realistic. Your performance in college and FUTA makes you think that you have a real chance. You still don’t see FUTA as proper soccer.

But no matter what happens, you would like to have your college degree. You have to do this. Time passes slowly. You eat snacks and drink tea. You move down to the first floor, where you lie on the couch as you work. You have the house to yourself. That was cool when you were younger… the perfect time to watch some porn and jerk off or something.

Now it’s just boring. It’s funny what love does to you. Adella’s little apartment is not great, but you desperately want to be there.

You get a lot of work done, and now it’s getting into the afternoon. You close your laptop and put on some unnecessarily sexy workout clothes: black, high-waisted leggings and a sporty top with a cutout to show some underboob. Adella is going to love this.

You head to the gym and do your contractually-obligated exercise: running, lifting, stretching. This is easier for you than school is.

As you go from the running track to the weight room, you see Adella on a mat with a woman, helping her stretch. The woman is doing her best not to look at Adella’s bulging package. You smile. Adella is probably this gym’s most popular trainer.

Adella spots you and is momentarily distracted, staring at you.

“That should be a public lewdness charge,” Officer Stark says, startling you. She’s right next to you, and her eyes are on Adella’s bulge. You have one too, but of course, Adella’s is bigger and more noticeable.

“Whatever. Having body parts is not lewdness,” you say.

You never liked Officer Stark. Gurlberg is small and doesn’t have many cops; she’s the one that you usually see out and about. She’s very butch, which you don’t mind, but she’s also a stickler for the dumbass anti-gay laws in your town. That gives you some bias against her, and your mom has never seemed to like her either. That probably plays a role in how you feel about her.

“Just remember,” Stark warns, flipping her towel over her shoulder. “You can be as slutty as you want on TV, but if you try that around here I’ll bust your ass.”

“Nice to see you too,” you say as she walks away. “I’ve never felt so welcome in my hometown.”

She holds up her middle finger over her shoulder. You sigh.
