Jessica uses her robe to fan herself without thinking about it, revealing beautiful, tanned cleavage. She smells like popcorn.

Stef, on the other side of you, smells like a Margarita.

“Did you hook up with my mom?” you ask her bluntly.

“Like I’m going to answer that in front of my wife,” Stef replies airily.

“She didn’t,” Jessica assures you.

“That’s a relief,” you say, juggling emotions. Being sandwiched between a lusty Stef and the beautiful Jessica is exciting, but Adella is right here. And this talk about your mom is emotionally complicated.

“Yeah, like I’m worse than your old man,” Stef says with a snort, and Jessica gives her a warning look.

“Don’t even think about it,” she says.

“I won’t,” Stef replies.

“Won’t what?” you ask.

“Nothing.”

“God damn,” Jessica says despite herself, taking a gulp and then using her free hand to fan herself. You know how she feels; it’s hot in here, and she’s not the only one who’s started to sweat. She looks suddenly at Stef. “What did you do to the thermostat?”

“Nothing,” Stef says guiltily.

“Oh my god,” Jessica says, disbelieving. “Seriously, Stef? That is some sleazy pickup artist bullshit.”

“Wait, you turned up the heat?” you ask Stef.

“No,” she says steadfastly. It is clear that she did it. What? To get you out of your clothes? “But it is hot.” She puts her cup on her thigh and whips off her top before anyone can react, tossing it away. She wears nothing but tattoos. Stef is small-breasted, but her nipples are fat and puffy. She sees you looking and makes her gaze challenging.

You snort disdainfully.

“Pussy,” she says.

“If you want to see my tits, you can just ask,” you say.

“Ask me,” Adella says.

“Yeah, ask her,” you agree, blushing a little. “They belong to Adella.”

“Is that how it is?” Stef asks.

“Naturally,” Adella growls. Sweat isn’t the only thing flowing. The energies are all mismatched. Stef is being a horndog. Jessica feels like the heroine from the cover of a romance novel, aching to be ravished. Adella is behaving like a wolf about to have a feast, but Stef doesn’t realize it yet. She’s so used to being the alpha that doesn’t recognize a bigger wolf when she sees one. And you haven’t been this wet since that night at camp when Adella kissed you in the lake.

Jessica abruptly stands up, clutching her robe shut. Her face burns.

“I’ll be right back,” she says with a wild look in her eyes. Before anyone can answer, she hurries out of the room. You hear her climbing the stairs.

Stef chuckles to herself.

“Is she scared?” you ask.

“Not exactly,” Stef replies.
