A visit from a friend

It has been over three months now since Rachel left society. Since then she’s become well adjusted to life in nature. With no groceries stores she’s learning how to find her own food sources being fishing from streams and foraging for berries, Rachel has even started farming in the hopes of growing food closer to her. In terms of where she sleeps she still lives out of the cave she found and has really flushed it out, creating a pile or rather a nest of twigs and leaves she now has a place to sleep that wasn’t the cold ground. Rachel’s life was coming along nicely she lived for herself and it made her happy.

Suddenly Rachel heard a twig near the entrance to her cave, ‘Is it the wolves again? I thought we agreed to leave each other alone.’, Rachel thought to herself. Rachel took an attack stance like a wild animal ready to pounce on whoever it was. As footsteps got closer and closer the figure came into view it was none other than Rachel’s best friend Sarah. It had been several months but Rachel knew without a doubt that it was her. “Sarah?”, Rachel said unsure. “I can’t believe you actually moved out to the middle of the woods.”, Sarah said. “Sarah!”, Rachel exclaimed as she quickly ran up and hugged Sarah knocking her to the ground. “Woah hey I missed you to Rach…”, Sarah looked down at Rachel and saw that she was completely naked, “…el, um are you aware you’re naked right now?” Rachel looked down at herself and then at Rachel, “Umm funny enough no.”, Rachel giggled getting off of Sarah. “So where are your clothes?”, Sarah asked. “Burnt to a pile of ashes with my car.”, Rachel responded with a smile. “So you’ve been naked for three months straight?”, “More or less all apart of my freedom. I chose to be like this and no one will tell me otherwise. But anyway what are you doing here and how did you find this place?” “Well you’ve been gone for three months I wanted to check in on you to make sure you were doing ok. As for how I found you come on did you really think setting your car on fire would go unnoticed, there was an article about it and everything.”

Sarah quickly got up and exited the cave, “Come on you gotta show me around your new home.” Rachel ran after her but stopped and thought to herself, eventually she spoke, “Alright but on one condition.”
