A vehicle of their own

"Type something totally off the wall. Something that would not happen in a million years," said James.

"Hmmm," mused Jessalyn before typing: James and Jessalyn Cole's stepmom will not only give them her SUV, but she will pay for all taxes and title transfer fees. She will also give them a $250 gas card.

"Never happen in a million years," said Jessalyn as she hit Enter.

Done popped up on the screen.

"When will we know if this worked?" asked James.

"I know." Jessalyn called her stepmom and put it on speaker. "Hey, James and I need a vehicle. Know where were could get one?"

"I'll just give you mine," said their stepmom.

James and Jessalyn looked at each other in total shock: eyes wide and mouths agape.

"I'll pay for all the fees and such, and I'll give you a $250 gas card to boot."

James mouthed "OH MY GOD"

"Thank you, Sarah," said Jessalyn.

"Will you two be home tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"I'll come over at 9 am then. Text me your address."

After Jessalyn hung up, she did a little happy dance then high fived her brother. She texted her stepmom their address.

"Now what?" asked James.
