Chapter 7 by Rowenar Rowenar

What does she see?

A valley

Clara breathed a sigh of relief when she got to the top of the hill, lying on her stomach. At least there was no one else there.

"We shall cross," Leela announced suddenly.

Clara squeaked, though at least that time it wasn't from embarassment so much as disbelief.

The gravel ended at a flat rim of solid stone, multiple colours making up the iridescent rock. Then past that was a gap a good few metres across; from their raised perspective Clara could see a fair way down, yet she couldn't see the bottom.

It stretched off into the distance both ways. And on the other side of the valley was more rock, more stones, though the ground did seem more sandy than this gravel.

"Are you sure that's smart?" Clara said.

Leela was already pulling herself up to her feet, catlike in ease.

"We cannot stop here," Leela said.

Flushing, Clara moved after her, using her arms to cover herself as she hurried to the side of the shameless huntresss.

"Yeah, but we could walk up along it," Clara said. "What if we fall?"

"Then do not fall," Leela said. "It is not far."

"Maybe for you," Clara said.

Leela eyes her for a moment. Then, with no warning, grabbed Clara's ass, squeezing it slightly.

"True. You have little muscle," Leela said.

"Hey, I have a great arse!" Clara protested instinctively, before flushing when she realised what she said. "A-anyway, it doesn't look natural. There could be a wall or forcefield or... something. Environments don't just change like that."

Leela paused. She looked across the gap, thankfully moving her gaze from Clara's rear, tilting her head.

On one side of the valley, gravel. On the other, a more natural looking quarry. The type of stone wasn't even the same. It did seem artificially constructed, though what kind of people would be here that they could pick and choose their environment was unnerving.

Leela knelt, picked up a rock, and effortlessly threw it across. She let her arms hang casually to her sides when she was done, in a stark contrast to Clara's nervous covering.

The stone sailed easily no land on the far side of the valley.

"No barrier," Leela said. "It was a good thought though, even if your manner is strange."

Clara flushed. Slowly, Leela paced back, not even caring as she bent over and pushed her firm ass back in Clara's direction while she pressed her hands on the ground.

"No give," Leela said. "With a run, this will be easy."

She didn't wait for Clara to comment before she turned and immediately started sprinting. She reached the edge of the valley, leapt, and cleared it easily. She landed with her knees bent, then turned and walked back to the rim on the other side.

"We should keep going," Leela shouted across.

Clara stared at her, incredulous.

But she didn't want to lose her company, as weird and embarassing as they might be. Being alone in this... place wasn't particularly appealing either.

Clara moved back, swallowed, then moved her arsm to her side. She'd need all the speed she could get.

Red-faced, she sprinted the same path as Leela, and jumped, screaming-

And just about landed on the edge; Leela grabbed her arm to pull her in, suceeding in pulling Clara into an accidental hug. Their tits pressed together for a brief second before, flushing, Clara pulled back.

Leela was grinning, genuinely proud, with no hesitation in looking Clara up and down in the moments it took her to again cover herself.

Clara hoped she didn't regret this.

How does the next stage of their journey fare?
