A two-pronged Attack

Mance was before the Wall staring up at the black cloaks manning it. Tormund Giantsbane had left a week before with twenty good men, climbing over the Wall to attack from behind. Mance watched as the first wave of Free Folk charged the wall. Three giants charged the gate, smashing through the wooden defenses and ripping the iron portcullis out of the door way. A ballistae pierced one giant, but the rest of his forces streamed into the tunnel.
