A traveler's hut

The five of you arrive at a traveler's hut, built and maintained by the kingdom. A small firepit with logs for seating sits in front of a small cabin. Inside are two beds and plenty of room for bedrolls. The mage leads you to a bed, where you lay down. You are stiff and sore everywhere, and you are nauseated.

"Let's get a look at you, girl. My name is Maya. What's your name?"

"I am Rosa. I'm also a mage. Nell and I were hunting. It was just too big. Did you find his body?"

"Yes, we did. We've met him at the guild. He was torn apart. I'm sorry for your loss," the mage says. She examines you thoroughly. After several minutes of gentle touching and prodding, she says, "I'm not familiar with the beast who violated you, so I'd like to cast some spells on you to make sure you have not been implanted with anything or exposed to any disease. Is that okay?"

You nod. "Please. That would be so kind." You are barely holding it together. Your limbs start to shake.

"Okay. This might feel strange. First, we'll take care of any diseases," Maya says as she starts making hand gestures and chanting. Then she touches your head and legs at the same time.

As she chants, she moves her hands together over your body. A strange tingling crawls across your skin, though after a moment it feels pleasant until her hands meet over your belly. Then it feels like a fire inside you.

"Ah! Now it burns!" you say through gritted teeth. The pain is intense.

"That means it's working. It's killing the disease inside you," Maya reassures.
