A simple question before acceptance

Blair's eyes focused on Ukea. "Before I accept, I have a question to ask." Ukea stood up, brushing herself off while waiting for Blair to ask. A smirk crept upon Blair's face. "Do you know why you are here?" Ukea let out an exasperated breath. "No." Blair's left eyebrow quirked. "None at all?" Ukea's eyes started to look in random directions. It looked like she was trying to think. "None that I wish to divulge at present." Blair playfully smiled. "Fine. Keep your secrets for now."

Blair turned around, showing her back to Ukea. "I'll accept you for now. Cross me, and I will end you." Ukea started to laugh. "Promises, promises." She curtsied slightly as her score ticked up to 24. "I look forward to working with you, Blair." Fuxipo's men stopped what they were doing, heading toward the east to the Vehicular Warzone. Blair glanced over at Ukea. "As I do with you, Ukea." She gestured to Fuxipo for her to come over while continuing to speak to Ukea. "While I rest, I suggest you take this time to familiarize yourself with the area and my allies."

Ukea bowed her head slightly as her wings spread out. Without saying a word, she took to the air to begin her suggested task. Fuxipo smiled while on approach to Blair. She started to speak once she was a few feet away. "What can I do for you, Blair?" Blair turned slightly, gesturing with her chin toward Fuxipo's men. "What are they doing?" Fuxipo's head tilted slightly. "They went to gather some materials. I plan to make something special to make it easier to get around this place."

Blair's eyes widened slightly. "Really? Do tell." Fuxipo grinned. "You know those smashed up vehicles and such you saw earlier?" Blair's eyebrow quirked. Fuxipo licked her lips before continuing to speak. "Well, I got to thinking. What's keeping us from having our own? Nothing! That's what." She gestured for Blair to follow her. Once they were by the Multi-Forge, she took out a small clipboard with a pencil attached to it from one of her pouches. "I plan to make smaller versions for us to drive around here. This place is simply too big to be walking all the time."

Blair nodded slightly. "Okay. What type of vehicles do you have in mind?" Fuxipo grinned widely, showing off her pearly whites. "That's where things get interesting! I plan to make a few transport types to haul materials and a couple ones to get around." She said while drawing a few examples. There was a mixture of regular and company style trucks as well as a couple of small cars. She glanced over at the Reservoir Generator and Collector. "If you don't like that idea, I could make a fast transit system instead." Blair's head tilted to the right. "All right, what would be involved with that? Are you talking about a train system or teleportation?"

Fuxipo scratched the underside of her chin. "I was originally thinking like a mining cart with seats, but I like your train idea better." Blair started to laugh. "Good. Mining carts with seats sound rather dangerous." Fuxipo shrugged. "Only if something goes wrong." Blair glared at Fuxipo. "What are you implying?" Fuxipo looked off to the side as she drew out examples. "Well, the tracks could be a little bumpy or someone gets in the way while it comes through. I can't be held liable if that happens." Blair gently touched her forehead with the tip of her right hand's fingers. "Please tell me you aren't serious. I don't want anyone to get injured because of something easily prevented."

Fuxipo shrugged again. This time, she put away her clipboard and pencil. "I could just take out the booster option and that'll take care of that. But, what if an enemy attacks? You'll want an escape option for those in transit, right?" Blair was about to agree, but realized that she hadn't used her Hearthstone yet. 'This place had hostiles before. I don't know if isolating this area will keep this place safe from new ones appearing.' She glanced at the house. 'I can at least keep those from the outside from entering without my permission.' As this thought went through her mind, a new quest appeared in front of her eyes.

Accept or Decline?

Blair didn't really need to think about that as she mentally hit, 'Accept'. However, she didn't know which option she would choose. She didn't need a vehicle for herself outside of the illusion barrier, but that didn't mean that someone else wouldn't need one should she need to have them go out into the real world. The railway would be better if she industrialized this place, but that wasn't what she had in mind. She looked again at how many people it affected. 'Damn, even Uggozan likes it.'

That was when something truly bizarre happened, a blonde woman appeared in front of Blair, crashing right into her. - 5 Hp When their foreheads connected, they both fell back onto their asses in opposite directions. 5 - 10% (WotT) = 5 (4.5), - 5 Hp That was when a number flashed in front of her eyes, a number she hadn't seen a while, 26 fear. This was a little more than enough to make this woman afraid of Blair. The woman she saw in front of her had an oval face, soft white skin, pointed ears, round eyebrows, ocean blue eyes, a slender straight nose, rosy red bow-shaped lips, and dead straight shoulder length blonde hair.

Blair couldn't believe her eyes. It was Ellinor, but what was she doing here? She left her at the mansion so she wouldn't be implicated in all of this. "W-what are you doing here, Ellinor?" She said, but Ellinor was quivering. She was too afraid to listen as she backed away from Blair. "I'm just an alchemist looking for someone! Please! Don't hurt me!" Fuxipo had a rather confused look on her face. "What is this woman talking about, Blair?" Ellinor glanced up to Fuxipo. Her eyes widened as she soon covered her eyes. "I don't taste good. I promise!"

Blair let out a soft breath, using a mental command to drink the fear from Ellinor. Within a second, Ellinor's body relaxed as her fear dropped to zero, restoring any bit of damage Blair had taken if any still remained. She looked to be more aware of her surroundings. "W-what happened? Where did the dark presence go?" Blair softly smiled. "Now that you've calmed down. What are you doing here, Ellinor?" Ellinor's eyes widened as she started to cry. "Blair!" She pounced Blair and hugged her tightly. "I, I was so scared!"

Ellinor nuzzled her cheek against Blair's. "You were gone. Zane and Nora were acting strange and...and.." She started to cry even harder than before. Blair gently hugged Ellinor. "I didn't want you to get involved. You had deniability before." Ellinor gently pounded Blair's chest with her fists. "I don't care what it is. I, I just missed you so much." Blair let out a soft sigh with a little smile upon her face. "Fuxipo, let's continue this later." Fuxipo chuckled. "Got it, but if you take too long. I'll start making an example of each."

Blair nodded. "I'll have an answer for you soon. I promise." Ellinor was still crying. Fuxipo nodded while wandering off. "They should be back soon..." Blair kissed the top of Ellinor's head. She needed to calm Ellinor down, but she was also very tired. Should she rest or answer Ellinor first? And which option of her quest should she choose? Vehicles or a railway system?
