A rescue attempt

Meanwhile back at Ellen and Amy's dorm...

"No, really!" Amy says. "Ellen really said that."

"I guess she's loosened up a little," you say.

"I do my best to broaden her horizons," Amy says. "Open up a few doors. You know, give Ellen her first real taste of college life." Amy's expressive hands follow along with her words, and one hand ends up in her lap.

You and Ellen's redheaded roommate have been shooting the breeze in her dorm room after successfully sneaking your overnight bag and several bottles of booze upstairs without being seen by Cathy or any of her friends. At least you don't think you were seen.

You check your watch and frown. "Where's Ellen?" you ask.

"Dunno, maybe she decided Cathy's not a bad chick," Amy says. The redheaded art student drains her Dr. Pepper and crunches the can before throwing it in the trash.

You point to the clock by Amy's elbow. "Um..." you say.

"Oh," Amy says. It's been a lot longer than twenty minutes. "Just a sec." She picks up the dorm room phone and dials, holding it to her ear. She stares up into space, listening. Her broad pink lips purse up into a cute pout while she's waiting. From time to time she brushes a strand of coppery hair off her lightly freckled cheek. "Hello?" Amy says, but keeps listening. Finally she puts the phone down. "No answer at Cathy's."

"Should we go down there?" you ask. "What could be taking so long?"

"What, and blow our cover?" Amy asks.

You bite your lip and frown.

"Aw, okay," Amy says. "I was always a sucker for a guy with a cute pout. Let's go."

Cathy's RA dorm is down one floor and in a different part of the floor from Ellen's. But it's quiet and you don't notice any suspicious glances from the few girls in the corridors.

"Lemme go first," Amy says as you approach. She leaves you at a turn in the corridor where you can watch, then knocks on Cathy's door. She puts an ear to the door and listens, then looks back at you with a worried expression.

You quickly follow up to Cathy's door and listen. There's a loud slap of flesh on flesh, and an "ow!"

"That's for lying to Cathy," a low woman's voice says.

"Give her another," Cathy's voice says.

Slap!

"It's almost time for you to come, Ellen," the low voice says. "Do you want to come?"

"Yes-s-s," you hear Ellen's broken voice sob.

"You have to do one more thing for us, then, slut."

You hear an indistinct sob.

"Kiss Cathy's ass."

"Shit," you whisper to Amy. "We gotta get her outta there now!" You step back and tense yourself to charge the door.

"No!" Amy says. "You'll end up in jail and Ellen will be worse off!"

Amy runs a few steps, flips up a red plastic lid and pulls the fire alarm.
