A quick digression on a few different strains – by Thronx

With the virus expanding, new forms and strains had been created – on its own and through the mixture of different strains. Here are some other strains, worth mentioning in the list – all part of the chapters by Thronx (starting at chapter 66 in the original story)

Iris:

The strain carried by Jess and four more hosts. It evolved as Kaitlyn put some of the Ares strain into the relatively normal infected Jess with no further powers than the usual traits of being a “sexaholic”. Jess got some serious portion of the Ares-strain and evolved it further into her own kind of strain. Its most typical characteristics are the highly infectious, fast way people get the virus and Iris’ ability to be some kind of a human being itself. Iris can talk (even if it’s mostly happens in the head of those she speaks to), act on her own if she wants to and would do anything to protect her hosts, especially Jess.

Magic:

Iris materializes herself in misty shadows, able to touch anyone, while being untouchable from others than her host. These shadows often look like the image of their host, even though it also can be just a dark wave of fog. Iris contains the power of mass-infect in a large radius when Jess starts to fuck, its presence alone can seduce and tempt. Furthermore, due to its similarity to the Ares-strain Jess can use Iris to create any kind of sexy things if she wants to. This fluctuates between transformations into different shapes and forms, telekinesis and telepathy and all the other things Jess wants to do. Without any further instructions Iris just let the people she infected do their thing and doesn’t care about their behaviour. A part of Iris always lives inside the people Jess infects and fuels their permanent sex-drive. In the end, Iris is a bit like the virus incarnate: wanting to pleasure all people and keeping them lusty and horny all the time.

Possession:

The possessive strain had been the strain Elias had carried. Created through a mixture of jealousy, vanity, lust and hot-headedness, Elias and his girlfriend Anne crashed their powers against each other and tried to triumphant over the other. Elias, who wanted all girls around him to love him just like Anne loved him, won their mental battle, thus created the possessive strain. The side-effect: It made him extremely short-sighted in his thinking, all he wanted were more and more women to fuck. The desire for more drove him into insanity and soon the women he fucked were just as mad for him than he was to fuck all of them.

Magic:

Next to the fact that Elias drove anyone wild for his person, he was able to change anyone he fucked in seconds to a woman (sometimes futa, sometimes not). He also was able to be nearly invulnerable for physical damage, a trait he doesn’t had to use often.

The end of the strain?

Elias had been strong…but he was overestimating his influence tremendously. His strain might be strong enough to turn usual infected into loyal servants for him but the moment he chose to fight a far stronger alpha his power crumbled. Iris used the possessive strain for her own good and used it to channel more of the dominant Iris-strain into Elias. He was sucked out of his own power by Iris and lost his influence on those he fucked mad once. After recovering, Elias returned to his old self, even if he kept some kind of his old powers that could change human appearance. Without the possessive strain he is just a usual infected. The strain itself were contained in Iris, more specific in Jess’ subconscious. This could be the end for the madness, Elias once wanted, because Iris had been far stronger than anything Elias did ever do with the Possession. But if the possessive strain stands out with one thing, then its persistency and hunger for more. And even if Jess is strong, the fact that such a strain lived inside her as well, challenged even her.

Cupid-Minor

The strain carried by Olivia Miller. The former college-teacher got infected as one of the first and was near Aphrodite as the divine created the Cupid-strain. Olivia got a portion of the strain as well and evolved a “sub-species” of the it. A limited version of the things the divine Aphrodite can do, to put it in other words.

Magic:

Just like Aphrodite’s original, Cupid-Minor works very good with plants. Olivia is able to control and grow plants, all with the purpose to pleasure those who touch them. But just like any flower the pleasurable plants need time and love to grow. Olivia’s strain comes better in handy if she stays at one place and let her flowers blossom, rather to spread its influence.
