A peaceful dream

Chapter 7 by ichigonaruto

(Soft, so soft... where am I? Oh, that's right. I need to get out of bed. There's a wedding I need to attend.)

You scramble around your dresser, looking for your most regal garb. For some reason, there are a few kimonos you don't recognize. You see a shiromuku and an iro uchikake. Those would be great if you're the bride, but you're there to bless the wedding as a goddess, not outshine the bride. After a few moments of thinking, you just stick to the usual kimono. It doesn't mean much to you, but after wearing it for so long, it's become part of your identity.

You walk into the center of your shrine and are astonished by how many people are there. While the village is small and everyone is invited to the wedding ceremonies to celebrate, none ever look like what you see before you. It seems as if not a single person refused the invitation. The central room is packed to capacity, and you can hear what seems to be a large crowd outside the shrine. It's quite embarrassing to be the last to the wedding when you live at the venue. Even more so because some of your followers are forced to watch from outside. You walk outside, and despite the bright sunny day, even so, there's a small drizzle pouring onto the crowd.

(This will not do.)

With the wave of your hand, the interior of the shrine expands to a size much larger than the outside seems to permit, and before long, you manage to fit everyone inside.

You gaze upon the crowd. You can't help but feel joy at the sight. Outside of this village, only powerful influential figures could perform them, while others could only watch. Even then, many were simply too low class to be permitted to attend such an event. Marriage ceremonies for everyone is something unique to your village brought about by you; though you couldn't help but watch them turn into formal religious ceremonies. People simply can't help but see spiritual significance in everything you do.

You see a man wearing a montsuki haori hakama. For some reason, you can't quite make out his face, but you can tell he's rather handsome. You're almost envious of the bride. He slowly walks up to the sanbo table.

(Hold on, where's the bride? I may have forgotten how all of this works because I just stand a little bit in the back and preside over the ceremony, but I at least know there needs to be a bride.)

As you struggle to remember how formal weddings work, the surrounding people start to get more and more blurry. You look at the sanbo. You don't know what's supposed to be there. You can't tell what's there either, but before you think too much, your attention is drawn to the groom. He hands you a small sake cup he just drank out of. This feels wholly inappropriate, but who are you to turn down fresh sake? You set the cup down, only for him to pull out an even bigger cup and do the same thing. Who are you to turn down a challenge? You drink the rest of the cup, only for him to pull out yet another, larger cup. After drinking from the third cup, your head starts to become foggy, yet there's one thing you recall.

(Oh, I remember now. That ceremony is held by the groom and bride... So I'm the bride... It's a shame. I know in far off lands these types of ceremonies are sealed by a kiss, but such an act would be improper and go against the purity of the ceremony... and I guess to me as well?)

Suddenly, your thoughts are interrupted as a jolt of pain bursts between your legs. The groom just slapped your pussy. You bend forward from the pain, only to then be locked in a deep kiss. Your mind melts as you fall to your knees. He lowers himself with you to maintain the forceful, intimate kiss. The blurry figures of the villagers disappear as it's only you and your husband. You watch as he pushes your back onto the long side of the sanbo and pulls apart the top of your kimono, and before you can finish thinking about taking off the rest, you are already naked. He has completely violated the sanctity of the marriage ceremony and the goddess who presides over it, and you couldn't have asked for more. You raise your head and watch as he moves in a seamless motion and pulls on the slit at the side of his kimono, proudly displaying his hard member to you. It's a complete beast. There's no way he could use that on you while you lay shoulder to waist on such a small table. He lines it up between your legs. He's at your entrance, yet he still feels so far away, and in one quick burst and without any foreplay, he inserts the entire thing inside in one forceful thrust.

"Hyaaaa!" You scream as you wake up in your room. You find your hand forcefully digging into your abused pussy, reigniting a pain that rivals the day prior.

"A dream..." You say to yourself in solemn.

After changing clothes, you do your best to walk to the courtyard for a breath of fresh air. You don't feel like doing much today. The pain in your pussy reminds you of yesterday's fun, but the yearning you feel from the dream you had sours the mood. You look outside. You see foxes run around. Some are wild, others are domestic, but that's only how the villagers classify them. Really, they all obey you without issue. You see two of them with golden collars. It's illegal and blasphemous to own pet foxes in your village, but those two are a bit of an exception. Those two are your favorites and wear those golden collars to show they are under your care, and thus show the humans who can't tell foxes apart to show them extra care. While looking at those two and still thinking about your dream, you get a burst of inspiration. The kiss isn't the only thing you liked about the weddings in far off lands. The married couple also perform a ring ceremony, where the ring shows that you are taken. You care not for a subtle ring, however; you want to wear a collar that matches his ring and shows you belong to him, just like those foxes in your courtyard.

Establishing a relationship like that as a goddess is impossible, but doing so as the yokai Sakiko is doable. Revealing last-minute relationship surprises isn't ideal, but it can't be helped. Maybe as you get closer to the husband you find, you'll give out more hints as to who you are. Now, it's time to find a husband.
