A new beginning

I kneel down before Eros and give her my hand. "I, John Doe first of his name, do solemnly swear to live by the blessings and teachings of my Lord and God Eros. I will...uh...spread her gospel throughout the lands and...um... ensure her will be done and-"

"Jesus Christ John." Eros sighs, her head in her hand. "I don't need this kind of medieval vows shit. I'm not Agrol or Minerva."

'Oh.. sorry Eros." I sheepishly apologize, assuming that those two were other, potentially less forgiving, Gods.

"It's okay, I like your spirit." Eros kindly smiles at me and I feel my heart flutter in my chest. "But there's really only one thing we need to do for me to gift you the Boon of Seduction."

"Oh really, what is it?"

As soon as I have finished my sentence Eros locks her lips with mine, her tongue darting around my mouth. I instinctively take a step back but eventually start kissing her back. As our kiss continues I can feel myself beginning to change. Not on the outside, but as if there was some new power within me that is now mine and mine alone. "This must be the Boon of Seduction." I thought as I reached out to grab a God's butt.

Just as quickly as the kiss started, Eros pulled back, the mischievous smile on her face in far contrast to my own, panting and blushing.

"There we go! The Boon of Seduction has now been granted to you! I am eager to see what you will do with it." She smiles, her eyes sparkling with delight and amusement before suddenly turning serious. "Oh shit what time is it in John's part of the mortal world." she asks herself as she frantically opens a portal.

On the other side of the portal, I see me sleeping peacefully in my own bed, as if I wasn't standing next to a sexy as fuck God that I just made out with. On my bedside table I can read the time on my clock. 7:48 AM.

"Shit, you spent to much time here, you're going to miss the bus to school. I will NOT have my champion spending the first day they have with my boon alone."

"Wait how do you know at what time I have to go to school at?" I asked. Eros looked at me incredulously and I immediately realized my stupidity. "Right, Godhood, omnipresence, forget I asked." I suddenly realized something else and asked another question without thinking. "Wait I've only spent a few minutes with you. How come so much time has passed in the mortal world than here?" I asked before realizing that I may have just asked another stupid, embarrassing question.

"The time here moves differently in the mortal realm" she answers an amused expression on her face. I blushed, not sure whether her amusement came from a place of annoyance or commendation. "Perhaps I will tell you about this place at a later time, but for now you gotta go! Sorry for this in advance."

Before I even have time to ask her what she's sorry for I feel her pushing me into the portal. As I fall onto my own sleeping body I look up and as I see the portal close, I can barely make out the silhouette of Eros happily smiling and waving goodbye.
