Strong hands, strong hands grab my arm and I feel myself dragged through the current. I see a flash of gold in the blubbing froth around me.

I hear a voice distorted water yell, "Stop fighting and let me drag you!" I let my body go slack and moments later take a coughing breath of fresh air as I break the surface and am pulled onto the shore. I immediately collapsed. I still feel like I have water in my lungs but with each hacking breath I start to register more of my situation. My leg... feels wrong. My head is spinning with motion sickness. Then I hear a voice behind me.

I wince and close my eyes as I roll onto my side. When I open them, I see her. She’s tall, her brown hair is wet and clings to her shoulders, highlighting muscles I was not used to seeing on women. She’s dressed simply in medieval-looking hunting clothes, any excess material omitted in favor of greater maneuverability. It all looks practical though, the knife at her belt real and the bow at her back more brutal than anything I’ve seen at a ren fair. The only soft thing about her appearance is the moss green of her eyes that momentarily make me forget the sand biting into my scraped side. Despite just coming out of cold water I feel myself getting lost in them.

I’m broken out of the spell by her voice, “Well shit, that doesn’t look good.”

I look down at my leg and grimace. I don’t think it’s supposed to bend that way.

"Can't trust you to take care of your self from here with a busted leg" She walks over to me, squat so she's closer to eye level with my prone form and looks me straight in the eye.

"What were you thinking attempting to swim in those waters!"

"I didn't want to; I fell from the trail system into a ravine upstream, I think. Thank you for saving my life" I reply.

"Well, I can't take care of your injury here, but I should have supplies back at my hut to examine and brace your leg. I'm going to need to carry you."

"I can handle myself..." I start to protest and attempt to stand but am cut off by excruciating pain in my leg.

She sighs, "Like I said, I'm going to have to carry you."

Before I can process what's going on feel pain briefly as I'm pulled briefly to my feet and thrown over her shoulders in a fireman's carry her arm sliding on my thigh to grab my good leg in place. I’m grateful for the coldness of the water as her grip barely avoids pinning my cock to my leg. My wet clothes cling to her back as she shifts me in place.

"Definitely a mainlander, no one wears these sorts of impractical clothes around here" She snorts as she begins to walk.

We travel in silence as I process recent events. I realize I have a lot to learn as an outdoors person as she is clearly following a path I fail to see through the jungle foliage. As normal sensation slowly returns to my body I realize I have a new problem. Being slung over her shoulder has my face inches away from her impressive breasts. Each of her steps through the jungle show them in motion. I feel heat in my face as and bury my face in her arm attempting to show a bare minimum level of respect. I feel arm vibrate as she laughs then for the first time. “You know, I carried my first deer like this after I moved here.”

Her words distract me as I picture the deer draped over her shoulders. The heat of her body slowly continues to warm me as we move. My muscles are still weak, but she holds with firm but gentle grip. Her hand on my good thigh is placed high, and I try not to think about how close it is to something else. I let myself relax and momentarily worry as I feel my pants tighten. But she says nothing, she just laughs adjusts her grip down my leg as we walk.
