A narrow escape

As the shot is lined up on Donna, Alexis spots him.

"Mmown!"
Donna puts her head down and the shot narrowly missing her shoulder.

"Mmup! Mmo Mmo!"

Donna gets up and starts to run again!

A shot hits a tree and the Hunter curses.

The duo try to catch up to Jen, who is absolutely not waiting for them!

Can you blame her?

The trio take a side route, hoping that the Hunter will get lost.
Fat chance, but why not try it?

A few moments later, a paint pellet hits a tree behind Donna.
No luck.

Alexis gets nervous and speeds up!

She is soon flanking Jen, who is surprised and not happy.
Bunching up makes them bigger targets!

They don't think like Hunters.

Alexis' speed soon becomes a hinderance.

As she passes Jen, she grazes a large stick and her right foot slips on the grass.

She goes down and the others catch up, stopping for the moment.

A moment of mercy from Jen, perhaps?
Concern?

Donna stops for a second, but spots the Hunter in the distance.
