A mysterious portal

It is an uneventful Friday night at Beacon Academy. The girls in Team RWBY were in their dorm discussing what to do with the night.

Yang "I say we hit the club and go dancing."

Weiss "After what happened last time we'd be lucky to get in the door."

Yang "The fire wasn't that big." She pouts.

Blake "Could always stay in with a good book." She suggests.

Ruby "But I'm bored, if nothing exciting happens I might die!"

As if to answer her request they all hear a strange noise from their closet. Being huntresses in training they snap into action and grab their weapons just in case.

Ruby "A grimm?"

Weiss "Can't be, not this far in Beacon."

Yang "Only one way to find out."

Yang cautiously approaches the closet and swings it open. Inside they see no creature but instead a portal in the shape of a doorway on the back wall of their closet glowing with a faint mauve hue.

Ruby "Okay, not what I was expecting."

Blake "It looks like a doorway."

Yang approaches it but Weiss calls out. "Hey don't touch it! It might be dangerous."

Yang grabs one of Weiss' boots and swings it so it enters the doorway before swinging back out unharmed.

Weiss "Don't just test it with my stuff!" She pouts.

Yang "Well it looks safe. I'm going in."

Ruby nods in agreement. "Together."

Weiss sighs, knowing their minds are made up as she gets ready to do in with them. Ruby leads her team through the portal.
