A lot of surprises

"Art Teacher who **** female students indefinitely suspended! Kidnapped girls safely returned!" Tsukane read over the newspaper article they'd written about the incident. "Glad that's been dealt with." He sighs, looking at the rest of the club.

"No kidding." Moka nodded. It took a while, but they managed to get the girls to the school's infirmary. It didn't take long to explain to the nurse what the art teacher had been up to, especially when all the girls had come to. They had managed to locate Ishigami before she had managed to run for it, and so the Principal got involved and had her removed. "Shame she couldn't have been fired."

"Well, what did you expect?" Yukari sighed. "They're aren't a lot of monsters interested in playing teacher, and they at least need a replacement for the art teacher before they can formalize it."

'So teacher shortages are a thing here too...' Tsukane mused as he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking up, he saw Gin looking down at him.

"Good job team. The girls are safe and the story is ready for production. Good investigative journalism from you guys." He said, giving the people some praise with a thumbs up. "Hope you're ready to hand these out tomorrow." He said, walking back to the front desk.

"...that was oddly plain from him, even if the congratulations was nice..." Tsukane said, before Kurumu looked at him with a grin. "I heard him sulking that he didn't get to be part of the action, he wanted to make himself look good for the girls too. Also, his investigative approach seemed to involve the girls throwing stuff at him at some point." She whispered, sniggering.

"You know, sometimes I feel a little bad for him." Tsukane murmurs to himself, looking at the three of them. "So, meeting in my room for my birthday?" He asked, the three of them nodding in agreement as the finished drafting the paper.

Tsukane made his way to his room before the rest of them, waiting to begin the festivities. The girls had said they needed a bit to prepare his presents, so he just had to be patient, no matter how excited he was. Lying on his back on the bed, he heard the knock, so he got up to let in...
