A husbands devotion

Lori walked out of the office building with a smile on her face. She felt powerful and confident, knowing what she had one. This new energy and power flowing through her body was incredible, and as she felt so many people's eyes on her, she knew her life would never be the same.

"Lori?" A familiar voice said, stopping her in her tracks before she turned around and saw him, Henry. "Lori, I've been trying to get a hold of you. Wow, you look amazing."

"Henry?" She said, almost as if she had suddenly remembered something she had forgotten.

"Have you thought about....... what we discussed?" He said as he approached her, trying not to stare at her cleavage, even though she looked so much more beautiful than he remembered.

"What we discussed?" She said to herself as she suddenly remembered everything. "The separation."

"I don't want to get a divorce," he said as he got closer to her. "I never did. I don't care about children, or anything else. I just want to be with you, no matter what that means," he said as he placed his hand on her cheek.

"Henry......... I........ I don't want that either....."

"Lori," a woman's voice said, getting her attention and stopping her mid-sentence before she turned and saw Aezeth standing there.

"Who is this?" Henry asked as he noticed the woman.

"Yes, yes of course. Coming," Lori said as her expression suddenly went cold and she stepped away from Henry.

"Lori, what are you doing?" He asked confused by her actions.

"Go home, Henry," she said, not looking back at him as she approached Aezeth.

"I'm not going anywhere. I want to talk to you about....." he suddenly stopped and fell to his knees, feeling a pain in his gut.

"I think the lady has made her position clear," Aezeth said as her eyes glowed and she caused him pain. "Time to go home."

"What.......... Lori....... what is going on?" He asked as she refused to look at him. "I love you, and I want to fight for us."

"Ugh, that word again," Aezeth said, rolling her eyes.

"I thought you understood love now?" Wanda said breaking through to her again. "This is obviously someone important to her. Please don't hurt him."

"Lori has made her choice," Aezeth responded.

"Did she, or did you make it for her?" Wanda demanded.

"Lori, please....... I love you," Henry pleaded but was in too much pain to move. "I don't want the divorce please listen to me."

"Foolish man," Aezeth said getting angry. "She is not property for your entertainment. She is a powerful woman, who deserves everything she wants," She said as she approached him with glowing green eyes. "Isn't that right, Lori?"

Lori finally turned around, her eyes glowing green as well. "What did you do to her?" Henry demanded, trying to get up, only for the pain to become more severe. "Let her go!"

"You think you can make demands on me? I am Aezeth, and you......" she said as Henry's hands began to turn to stone.

"Wait!" Lori said, seeing what she was doing to Henry. "Please don't," she continued to say with tears in her eyes.

Aezeth continued to use her power to turn him to stone, making it go further up his arms before she finally stopped. Henry breathed out a sigh of relief as his hands returned to normal. He sat there on the pavement looking up at them, confused but still trying to get up.

"Fine, but I suggest you stay away from her. You do not want to cross me, Henry," Aezeth said with fire in her voice before her and Lori suddenly just disappeared.

"What....... where........ LORI?" He called out as he got back to his feet, confused and horrified by what had just happened. "What is going on. LORI!"
