A humiliating lecture

“I see,” Francine said. “So you still have accidents? Even after all the progress we made together. You still wet the bed like a little baby.”

Alexa’s eyes widened, her face burned. “I…”

“Don’t even bother trying to lie,” Francine said. “Of course those are for you. There’s no one else they’d be for.”

“Francine, this isn’t the place,” Michelle said as she stepped in front of Alexa protectively.

“No, this is the perfect place,” Francine said. “Alexa, you’ll never learn. You know, I kept your little secret for years, but I can’t believe you still wet the bed even at 22 years old. You should really be ashamed. I mean, what would your father think? What would your mother think?”

Alexa stared at the ground, her eyes watering in embarrassment. “P-please… I… I don’t want them to know.”

“Did you wet the bed today?” Francine asked.

Alexa gulped. “Francine,” Michelle said. “That’s none of your business.”

“Well, Alexa?” Francine said. “Answer my question.”

Alexa whimpered. “Y-yes… I did…”

Alexa squirmed as her ears burned. Francine stepped pass Michelle. “Then you know what to do.”
