Chapter 17 by Nicegent42

What's next?

A good trainers work is never done

The hum of fans echoed softly from the ceiling as Reina stepped out of the spin studio, clipboard tucked under one arm, her thoughts already shifting toward what came next. The gym had begun to settle into its evening rhythm—classes were ending, music had softened to something ambient, and the last few clients were rinsing off or chatting quietly near the smoothie bar. This was the in-between space she liked best. Productive silence. Not quite done, but winding down. A small smile stayed steady on her face, feeling content, she loved to work here.

All employees love to work here, your job is fulfilling. The thought ran through her subconscious as the light music played through the gym.

She spotted her final client of the day, Tina, folding her towel near the front bench. An attractive woman in her mid-thirties with long blonde hair that looked silky smooth like she could be in a hair commercial, her fit body helping her look like she could be used on a poster to advertise for the gym.

She was one of SpaFreu’s success stories and one of Reina’s. The woman had come in going by Christina, who seemed to be soft-spoken, self-conscious, more than a bit hesitant, and could be called pudgy if Reina was being kind. To Reina she appeared to be a bored housewife on autopilot, stuck in the blur between daily errands and invisible expectations. The woman hadn’t needed much prompting to admit she wanted to lose the weight, twenty-five pounds, or so she'd said. Reina knew it wasn’t just about numbers. This timid housewife wanted to feel useful again, to have purpose, to feel desired.

The personal trainer looked over the woman’s form in appraisal. Tina hummed as she wiped down her yoga mat, toned arms flexing just enough beneath her fitted tank to show she had put in the work. She moved like someone with purpose. Like someone who expected to be seen and had not only made peace with it, but desired it. The woman even smiled more than she used to, not that brittle, apologetic kind Reina had noticed in the early sessions. The name change to something more youthful, more bubbly, a friendlier expression, Reina knew those were thanks to her guiding hand and the gym’s state of the art conditioning.

It took time and effort on both her clients part and Reina’s to achieve things. Light weights, work on the machines, a few weeks of classes like spin and swim classes. A bit of product guidance, and just enough layered affirmations in her audio mix—and Christina had become Tina. A little rebranding went a long way to help reframe someone’s perspective she had found in her time here as a trainer.

Tina wasn’t one of SpaFreu’s top spender by any means, but consistent. Predictable. Willing. She never pushed back on bills, she always brought her own towel, and she bought just enough to nudge Reina’s numbers upward closer to the top salesperson’s territory, Camille, Reina would get there though.

All employees want to do their best selling, more sales means larger commissions. The words tickled the back of Reina’s mind.

“You good for today?” Reina asked as Tina moved to tighten the laces on her gym shoes before heading off to the showers.

“Great, actually.” Tina pulled out her scrunchie and retied her ponytail with a casual flip. “Greg and I…” Tina paused, almost doubting her personal trainer would remember her husbands name, but she trusted Reina and a giggle escaping her lips, something she would never have done before she started coming to the gym. “We are going on a little trip this weekend. He has been more… adventurous with me lately.”

Reina’s smile deepened slightly. She imagined part of her husband’s new attitude wasn’t just from his wife’s more attractive form, but from pheromone additive she had introduced to Tina’s plan. Thinking about the most recent sale she got from Tina another idea struck her and she couldn’t wait to pull up the woman’s profile when she got back to her desk.

“That is wonderful, sounds like the two of you are happy.”

The blonde woman’s smile was like someone turning on their high beams. “We are and I think you and the gym had a lot to do with it.

Reina waved her hand in the air as if to wave off the comment. “Just doing my best to help. Same time tomorrow?”

“Absolutely.” With that, Tina turned and disappeared towards the gyms changing room and showers, leaving a faint trace of citrus lotion and peppermint gum in her wake.

Reina moved through the corridor toward the staff wing, passing the cardio section where one of her coworkers, Camille leaned beside the water dispenser, laughing softly with a client. Always so poised. Reina didn’t stop. She gave a brief nod, barely a smile, and kept walking.

All employees should always be polite to coworkers; we are like family.

Camille had edged her out last several months on commissions. Reina knew exactly how much product Camille pushed. High-dollar bundles. Performance kits. Hair care subscriptions. Half of it wasn’t even relevant to her clients’ goals, but they bought it anyway. Camille had a knack for wrapping up results in shine and trendiness.

Reina didn’t need flash, she had results. This month, she planned to beat Camille, to beat everyone. Tina was just one of her clients and they all helped raise her profile, but it was Jerri that was going to push her to the top, the girl needed a lot of help and with her finances the young woman was a whale.

Getting back into her office, Reina put on a light sweater that was hanging off her chair before settlings behind her desk. The lighting was warm, just enough to offset the blue glow of her dual monitors. She pulled up her client summaries and started with Tina’s file.

Client Name: Christina Rivera

Preferred Name: Tina

Age: 34

Start Goals:

— Lose 25 lbs

— Regain energy

— Reclaim personal identity

Current Status:

— Weight loss: 40 lbs

— Confidence: High

— Social behavior: positive escalation

— Clothing purchases: moderate

— Participation: consistent

She skimmed the notes with a flick of the scroll wheel. The change from Christina to Tina had become second nature. That kind of name shift signaled readiness. Compliance wasn’t just about obeying — it was about becoming.

Employees should help themselves by helping their clients use SpaFreu’s services.

Satisfied, Reina opened the subliminal programming log and added a pair of entries to be layered into Tina’s music over the next week:

“You enjoy telling your female friends about SpaFreu. It’s your secret weapon — and now you want to share it.”

“They’ll love it here. Invite them in with a free day pass.”

She tagged the file “Ambassador Potential” and moved on.

Next, she opened Jerri’s full profile instead of just the condense information she had for Tina.

Name: Geraldine “Jerri” Cole

Gender: Female

Orientation: Straight

Income: $110,000/year

Living situation: Apartment, lives with roommate (Male) Travis

Onboarding Goals:

— Fit without weight training

— Wants improved shape

— Wants a larger chest

— Seeks confidence

— Hopes to be noticed

Behavioral Indicators:

— Highly trusting

— Compliant with instruction

— Mild grooming hesitation (initial)

— Wearing all assigned (purchased) SpaFreu gymwear

— **** to new preferred name wanning

— Responds positively to praise

Reina smiled as she read. Jerri had come in uncertain, but “Geraldine” was quietly taking hold. She wasn’t resisting the name anymore — maybe not even noticing how often she heard it. The waxing today was a very much needed start, the poor girl wasn’t even trying anymore. It was now time for her to start working on her shape. Reina couldn’t imagine growing up being flat as a board, it was no wonder the girl was such a tomboy with little self esteem.

She loaded the product vendor dashboard to see what products she could push to help and filtered by Body Enhancement.

Bust-UP.

A signature SpaFreu shake formula. Estrogenic herbal support, light hormone blend, high-protein meal replacement. Two shakes a day — breakfast and lunch — would encourage chest and hip fullness, skin softening, and natural mood improvement.

Waist Training Kit.

She selected two units:

• A Velcro-style waist training corset for active wear. Breathable, flexible, mildly compressive.

• A seamless daytime cincher to be worn under normal clothing. Invisible, but persistent.

She tagged both so those handling inventory would have them ready for her. Jerri was taking well to the conditioning, not everyone did, so she didn’t expect she would question the next stage to help her develop or the new charges to her account. The motivated young woman wiggled a little in her seat thinking about how to phrase her guidance so the right messaging was there.

Opening the audio cue structure and inserted the next layer of subliminal messages, carefully spaced between the base loops.

“You want to drink SpaFreu shakes for breakfast and lunch. They help your body stay light, and in control.”

“Bust-UP helps your body develop how you want. You feel more confident as your figure develops.”

“Your waist trainer keeps you supported and looking fit. You love how it hugs and defines your shape.”

She paused, then added a final thought—gentle, anchoring:

“Having a feminine body makes you more confident. You love what you’re becoming.”

The messages would blend invisibly into the existing playlist and in time Reina knew the repetition would help it sink in and Geraldine would be none the wiser how SpaFreu got them the best results.

Reina saved the changes and leaned back in her chair, stretching her shoulders. “I love my job.” She said, feeling like she was making a real positive difference.

All employees love to work here, your job is fulfilling.
