What's next?
A duty to protect
The twin krakens had enough of the house being bombarded with heavy waves. The house felt as if it was ready to collapse as any given moment and wash their whole family away.
"Mio! Watch over your younger siblings!"
Maie yelled out, both krakens throwing themselves into the storm. They've never been on land to encounter such tremendous force from the gods. They've taken form of their monstrous kraken forms. Wrapping themselves largely around the house. This shredded most of the oncoming waves from striking their home. Leaving only the rain to be its real competitor with what slips in between their massive forms.
Yilia let out a soft sigh, almost sick to her stomach from feeling the house rock violently just seconds ago.
"An island that isn't flat... One with volcanos so land mass is always there to grow, but you run into the risk of the obvious... "
She spoke out, holding Noa in closely to herself. She for the life of her can't seem to let this child out of her grasp. Not that she minds it, she loves it to be honest.
"That won't be an issue for us... I can always force any activity away from our family.."
Evvda said softly, finally taking a seat with the kids around her. When it came to barrier magic, she still has a lot to learn. Sure she guided them through the waters safely, but from this severe weather. From constant bombardment, her magic would deplete way to fast when protecting them, and who knows how long this storm will last?
"So for the mean time, take shifts. Those two can't just stay out there being slammed by the storm. After a certain amount of time, use your barrier magic and let them come in. Once you can't hold it up anymore, they'll go back out. Is that fair?"
Ibris asked over to both Aki and Evvda. The elk lifted her head and slowly nodded to the plan.
