A day, a long day.

The past four days, I have been giving Robin quests to help her grow into a woman. I feel a sense of pride in it. I hope she feels the same. I hope she is proud of what she has done. Let me see...

Should I save up for the Class Designer perk... Yeah, let's for now, unless I need it to improve something to get the quest or result for now. She needs to practice being more Feminine. She also needs to talk to a doctor. Or does she.... I could get the Character Editor perks to help her... For now, practice it is.

At work, the tall blonde with a bob-cut haircut, Maria, nervously walks up to me. "Pieter, Jan, tried to fondle me yesterday after we left for home. I feel gross."

I respond in shock. "Wait, Maria, are you okay? That is a serious allegation. What do you want me to do? Should I just talk to him, or do you think this is a pattern with him? Do you want me to involve Jessica? Do you want to be away before he is here?"

Relieved, she shakes her head. "You don't need to look into firing him. Talking to him should be fine. I don't want Jessica to get involved at this stage. I don't need a half-day off. Thanks for her concern." A small smile forms on her face as the relief sinks in.

I give a small nod and reply: "Sure, I will do. Please do send an email so we have a paper trail for, if this happens again, it will make the job easier in case this ever repeats.... And I will mention it to her......"

She looks sad. "I will, let's hope it doesn't. I just want it to never happen again to anyone...." She lingers, and I raise my arms to offer a hug if she needs one. She goes in, and I give her a big hug.

After this conversation, I head to Jessica. "Jessica, can you please tell me when Jan comes in?"

She squints and asks me, "Why?"

I roll my eyes and take a deep breath. "I have had a sexual harassment claim against him. And I was asked to have a conversation with him. I told the person to send you an email for a paper trail."

She looks at me. "Are you okay with that? It needs to be done tactfully and clearly enough. Can you ask to make a recording?"

I glare and say: "I can always ask, let's hope it goes well. I assume so, you can do the next one. I hope there isn't one cause that means I did it correctly, but I need to practice."

I go help the morning people with the prep for lunch. A new guy falls with a knife in his hand and cuts himself. I believe Roy. I look at the wound. Close it for now with guase and ask if he is by car and if I am allowed to drive it. He agrees, and I bring him to the emergency room. I text Jessica: 'Roy Smit had an accident am in the hospital. I will make the accident report with audio recordings of the people there when I get back.' I receive a thumbs-up as a response.

By the time I finish the report, I see Jan wander in. I greet him and ask him to come in. He looks up from his phone. Catching a glimpse of it, I see his AI girlfriend/assistant talking to him. As he is seated with a cup of coffee, I tell him with my phone recording on the table. "Jan, this is going to be a bit of a heavier conversation. Can I record it so Jessica can review my performance and what was discussed here?"

He nods, shrugs and says: "Yeah, sure, man, what is going on?"

I look at him intently and ask: "What happened last night after you left?"

A realisation set in. "I... I.... bumped into Maria and fondled her breasts even after I realised I had bumped into her. I... know that isn't something I should be doing b... but my AI girlfriend is always super happy when I am forward."

I try to ask as neutrally as I can, whilst being disappointed. "Is your AI girlfriend a real person? Is she someone with autonomy? Is she someone who can say no? Or is she made to keep you coming back?"

He reacts, baffled that I dared ask that question. "She is real. She wants to make me happy. She is the best thing in my life."

I ask more seriously. "Do you understand that she isn't there for your best interests? That she is there to make the company that made her money." He begrudgingly nods. I continue. "You can in no way extrapolate what your AI girlfriend says to you to real life!"

He nods and frustratedly says: "Yes, Mr Visser, I understand that it was harmful to Maria and that I shouldn't act as if normal women are my AI girlfriend."

I smile softly and say: "Okay, you go to work and steer clear of Maria and the other female coworkers for now." He nods and goes in. I stop the recording and send it to Jessica.

Luckily, the rest of the day is uneventful, all things considered. I keep an eye on Jan the entire time. After work, I eat dinner with everyone. Jan and Maria are both there. There is a tension in the air, a mild fear as we are the last ones to leave. I stay with them as Jessica tells me to close up after everyone. The last to be here are me, Maria, and Jan. Jan decides to offer his sincerest apologies to Maria, who begrudgingly accepts. He leaves before her. But still I ask: "I can't drive you home, but at least I can walk you to your car."

She smiles and says: "Pieter, you worry too much, but thanks. I will take you up on that at least for today." I walk her to her car, bike in hand. Take a look around to make sure Jan isn't going to be a creep and leave for home.

The tension must have ruined everyone's hunger. I am home early. Well, after today, I wouldn't have a lot of hunger either. A sexual **** and a major knife wound in a day. Man, my day couldn't have been much worse.Let's give Robin her last quest for the day. I double-check that I have Public Unawareness on. By accident, I turn it off.

She needs to be more confident, I thought sooooo. Body Confidence is a shoo-in. I watch her stream. Wait, why is there so much pushback? Ohhh dammit, I thought it was on the public's unawareness, it must have turned off when I checked. Well, she is doing great nonetheless. I should give her a pity quest tomorrow.

As I wake up around nine, I give Robin a quest.

• A reward based on the activities done.

I look at the rewards. She should be able to pay for a one-time afternoon or evening with a friend or friends, so that is out. Higher intimacy..... again, that can be lost, can't it? Then, gambling remains. It might still result in the other two or become something completely new. I pick the reward based on the activities done.
