A couple days later

A few days passed since Dean suggested that they have a chat with Ron. Both Summer and Dean haven’t brought it up at all, Dean somewhat dropped it rethinking if that was the best course of action.

Summer was coming over to Dean’s tonight, they were both free for once. Dean of course hopeful for to have some fun with her.

Summer and Dean were hanging out at usual, nothing sexual so far. Summer’s phone buzzed, she picked it up and texted who ever it was back. She turned her attention to Dean, “Did you want to go over to Ron’s now?”

Dean was confused, “What? Why?”

“You said you wanted all of us to have a conversation? Remember?” Summer said. Dean forgot about it and Summer clearly didn’t. “Vaguely…” he said unconvincingly. “Well I’ve been texted him trying to find the best date to do it since we talked about it and looks like we are all free right now.” She said. Apparently Summer has now been texted Ron back for a couple days unlike before where she was ignoring his texts.

Dean didn’t say anything so Summer talked again, “So should we go next door?” Dean was hesitant, “Why do we have to go there, why can’t he come here?” Summer didn’t see what the big deal was about, “Ron just said to come over, he offered.” “Fine, I guess we can go over.” Dean caved. “Okay, I’ll text him we’re coming!” Summer said.

Dean and Summer walked over to Ron’s house. Summer said that Ron texted to just come in and the door was unlocked. Summer opened the door and walked in followed by Dean. Dean started to look around the foyer, he has never been inside Ron’s house before. He turned to see Summer pulling her shirt over her head. “What are you doing?” Dean asked her. She was now shirtless with just a bra on, she took a second then said, “It’s his rules…” she started to strip herself of her pants. “Stop!” Dean said, “You’re not here for that… we’re just here to talk, put your clothes back on.” “Sorry, it’s just a **** of habit!” She said. Summer put her clothes back on. They walked farther in to the house to find Ron.

Ron was in his living room when they found him. “Hey neighbors!” Ron said as he got up from his chair to greet them. Summer stepped in front of Dean to hug Ron. Ron asked Summer and Dean about their wedding and honeymoon plans. Summer explained her dream wedding, the venue, the menu, the colors, she went in to **** detail. Dean also had to but in saying that he was unsure we could afford all the extras and that they were trying to cut costs which of course made Summer pout. Summer then continued on to what her dream honeymoon would be. She always wanted to see penguins in the wild, she said she wants to go on a cruise to Antarctica. Dean then of course butted in again and said that he wasn’t sure it was in the budget and then said it’s a fluid situation which made Summer pout again. Ron was taking it all in, taking interest in all of it, he genuinely seemed interested in all the details.

“So your bachelor and bachelorette trips have to be coming up soon right?” Ron asked. “Well…” Summer started to say something but Dean interrupted, “We decided we weren’t going to have them, working instead of going on trips would help us in the long run for the wedding and honeymoon costs…” Dean explained. “That’s a shame, bachelor and bachelorette parties are the best!” Ron said. “I could always take you guys out for your parties!” He suggested. Dean and Summer laughed a little at the suggestion and brushed it off. “Yeah sure, thanks,” Dean said jokingly.

Summer asked Ron about what he’s been up to, trying to make conversation. He doesn’t say much, he retired after all. Dean and Summer both know some of what he has been up to.

The conversation died out and they all sat in silence before Ron said, “So Dean, what is it that you wanted to talk about?” Dean looked at Summer you was looking back at him with an encouraging look. “Well… um…” Dean wasn’t sure what to say, he wasn’t very prepared. He wasn’t planning on having this conversation today or maybe any day, he just said they should talk to Ron right after he came, he wasn’t really thinking straight.
