A confession

I regreted my decision to tease Toph now. I'm laying on my now dry bed listening to Toph list all the reasons why it's better if we both sleep in the same bed. 'Better security, I won't have to walk to your room to wake you up every morning.'

But I know it was because I just had to tease her about the horror movie. Well, karma is a bitch. I was feeling nervous. I had never shared a room before, much less with a girl. I slapped myself for being an idiot, and she was just scared. There was nothing wrong with sharing a room if she's worried.

"Hey, I'm coming in now," Toph says from my bathroom, her usual voice of confidence sounding weak, she stepped out, and I was shocked to see her wearing one of my sister's shirts and nothing else but underwear. "If you laugh, I'll break your nose," she says out of nowhere. Toph crossed her arms over her chest as a slight tint of red started to appear on her face.

The shirt was bright pink and had the words 'Princess' written on it.

"Why would I laugh?" Maybe she was just as nervous about sharing a bed as I was.

"Doesn't matter," She huffs before walking over to the bed. I couldn't help but follow her with my eyes. Her usual teasing is absent from the now awkward acting Toph who slowly pulls the covers up and slips down beside me. We both lay still for what feels like hours before I say something, "are you alright?"

"Really, that's it?" She says, sitting up in the bed, "That's all your going to say"

"What did I do wrong?" I say, also sitting up to look her in the eyes.

"Typical guy, not interested in a girl unless she has two beach balls strapped to her chest."

"Wait, is this why you're upset? What the hell is wrong with women."

Toph Grinds her teeth. "You Think I was flirting for fun?!" she screams. "Why couldn't you be an old fat guy or a little kid? Why did you have to be." She pauses for a moment before throwing a pillow at my face, "Attractive!"

Throwing the pillow back at her, "You think I'm just going to pre-pose after just a few days on knowing you?" I yell. "I've had plenty of people in my life try and win me over because my parents are rich, so I stopped caring. I do find you attractive, but I'm scared you'll use me like the rest."

Her face blushes, and I feel mine got red as well after realising what I just blurted out.

"I wouldn't do that",, Toph said quietly.

"Ya, that's what they all say." I just felt like a huge dick now. I know she wouldn't do that. I guess I'm just pissed at everyone who did.

"I'm sorry for busting your balls like that. It's just, I hate how I look, and I like you- Ahh" Toph covered her eyes and fell onto her back in frustration. "I hate feeling like this, all mushy and shit."

"I like you too," I say. Toph moves her hands from her eyes. "What?" she asks.

"I said I like you, okay." I turn my head embarrassed.

"You do? even though I don't have big boobs?"

"What the hell does that have to do with it?"

"I thought guys only like girls with huge tits?"

"Well, ya there nice, but so are yours, and you have a great ass."

Toph softly giggled before it turned into a hysterical laugh.

"What's so funny?" I asked, annoyed.

"your so stupid." She craws forward, her hands resting by my side as her face in close to mine. "It's cute."

Toph leaned in a kissed me. It only lasted a moment, but I wanted more, so when she pulled away, I tried to pull her back.

"Hey, that's the only one your getting tonight." She said with her evil grin. "Now rest up. We've got training to do tomorrow."

She laid down on my chest as I rested my head on the pillow, "Oh and by the way." I look down at her "Lie to me again about shit like the film, and I'll break one of your bones, K." She smiled sweetly.

"Okay", I said nervously as she snuggles on my chest like she didn't just threaten to kill me.

Toph wraps her small arms around my body before falling asleep, 'things are gonna get interesting,' I think to myself before falling asleep with a girl cuddling my chest.
