“Sarah do you have anything to add?” you asked, getting met with only a shake of the head in return.

With a sigh, you had to admit to yourself that this wasn’t going to work if the current mood continued, needing something, even if it was just a small push in the right direction, to get them to relax like the first time they had been together.

“You’ve both told me on separate occasions you were excited about this so I know you don’t want to miss the chance before we go away for the weekend.” you stated, getting them to at least look in each other's directions.

Before they could say otherwise, you moved out from between the two of them and grabbed their arms on either side of you and pushed them together, making them hold hands as you continued the rest of the trip home.

It still led them to quicken their pace while still holding their each others hands and at first, they only looked to be walking faster with you finding it easy to catch up but the look between the two of them had them almost giggling as they changed to jogging and then almost full on running as you all went down the last few streets.

They would have probably left you in the dust if it had been a week or two ago but you barely managed to keep pace and got to the garden in front of Emma’s house just as she was trying to find her key.

“Please don’t tire me out before we even get started” you joked, trying to hide your slightly harsher breathing as you stood there.

“Oh don’t worry, I think we should focus on Sarah at first” Emma teased, the run doing some good in easing the tension even further.

“Well… You’re gonna struggle to walk after I’m done with you” Sarah replied, her competitive spirit now activated but still finding herself struggling with the dirty talk.

Emma got the door unlocked with a grin and you all piled inside, you being the last one in and closing the door behind you. You considered leaving your bag out by the door but you had said you were supposed to be studying, an excuse you could all give to Grace if you had your bags with you and she happened to get home before you were gone.

You all went up the stairs but you could see Emma pause as she reached the landing at the top, her eyes flicking in the opposite direction from her room towards Grace’s before giving you a smile.

“Nope, we're not going in there after what happened last time” you said, making Emma exaggerate a pout towards you before she turned to go down the corridor to her own room.

“Last time?” Sarah said, curiosity filling her voice.

“Yeah Max wanted to…” Emma started to reply before you cut her off.

“It was definitely your idea” you interjected.

“Well anyway, we ended up messing around in my Mom’s room and there may have been some things done in the heat of the moment that we… I probably shouldn’t have done” Emma explains, getting a look from you before she corrected herself.

You made it to Emma’s room just as she finished her explanation and she flopped down on her bed as soon as she got the chance, discarding her bag on one side of the room while you and Sarah placed yours near the door. Before the momentum was lost and the second guessing started up again, you took Sarah by the hand and led her to the bed, sitting down on the edge and pulling her down to rest in the space you had left at the side of you.

“Now” you started, lightly taking her arm and placing your lips against her skin, kissing further up her arm every time you stopped talking.

“You and Me and Emma are all here. I know your gonna start feeling the nerves just like the rest of us but I want you to know this. It’s perfectly fine to feel scared even if this is what you’ve been wanting to do all week. The same goes for you too Emma” you added, looking your girlfriend's way before turning your attention back to Sarah.

“My point being, we may have all hyped ourselves up for this and it's done more harm than good so let's start out with something simple okay?” you asked, letting her hand rest against your own as you waited for a reply.

“Okay. I’d like that” Sarah replied, a genuine smile appearing on your sister’s lips.

You brought your lips to hers and lightly kissed her, both of you leaning to meet each other in the middle. It was slower paced and not the passionate make out session you had shared previously but it did exactly what you wanted it to do, relaxing Sarah as you felt her drop her guard that she probably didn’t even know she had raised.

It also gave time for Emma to sit down on the opposite side of her and when she felt the time was right, she gave Sarah a light tap on her leg to get her attention, moving in to kiss her when Sarah had turned and looked deeply into her eyes.
