Yukari had begun to question the logic of trying to move a scaffolding all by herself. The towering structure barely shifted, much less move in the guided direction.
Then after more moments of struggling, it finally began to respond. It inched over to the left, slowly but surely making the obstructed door more accessible.
That spurned on Yukari's actions, and she pushed a little harder.
She heard the creaking of a wooden plank above, and thanks to her quick reflexes, she narrowly escaped having a can of paint land on her head.
Though that hadn't done much in the way of avoiding the paint which had splashed out from the can as it fell, which splashed all over the front of her body.
Yukari slowly craned her head downward, dreading what she was about to see. Fortunately, her face and hair were safe.
Her luck ended there. Several streaks of damp paint were lining her bare skin, almost as if to mark her nudity with telltale horizontal stripes of bright white markings.
On one hand, she was still naked, so this really didn't seem that big a deal in comparison. On the other, the liquid was both cold and very unpleasant.
Also, there was a telltale puddle of paint on the ground from the spilled can. Obviously someone had been responsible, and if that jerk with the phone was as clever as he acted, there was even a witness.
There was a drop cloth nearby. She could try to wipe up the mess before it became irreparable.
Then there was the reason for this predicament; the locker room. There was just enough room for her to squeeze into the doorway.
