A Teddiursa (male)

Out of the flash appeared a shy little Teddiursa. “Di? Teddi?” The Pokémon asked looking around, then it started to cry.

“Oh, it’s okay, I’m here for you.” Hailey smiled and hugged the teddy closely.

“Pfff, don’t coddle him! He’ll never grow strong by being a cry baby like you!” Eva rolled her eyes. This ignited something within Hailey, causing her to give Eva a dirty look.

“Okay! And that leaves you, Tiffany! Come claim your new partner!” the professor smiled as he pushed the button a final time. The Pokéball rolled in as Tiffany approached the machine. She picked it up and held it with both hands with her eyes closed. “Come on, give me a real winner!” She whispered to herself as she tossed her Pokéball in the air, releasing a flash of light.
