A Quick Note for the Readers

I haven't come up with any appearances for the marks just yet, only names. I'll post a few of the names, which should mostly be self-explanatory, and descriptions of most of them will show up in the story proper, but I thought it would be potentially more engaging to let the readers decide on the form for these symbols, either by writing a description of the mark, showing an art piece that's how they think the mark might look, or some combination of the two.

Currently Planned Marks:

the Mark of Subjugation-- the first named mark in the story: Allows the caster to completely change the racial and physical properties and psychologies of the target to the caster's specifications, no matter how simple or complex the changes are.

the Mark of Submission-- second named mark in the story, and currently planned as the first to be focused on: Allows a more restricted level of control over the target's body, the one that is marked must willingly agree to let the caster alter their mind mentally.

the Mark of Domination-- third named mark in the story, the current story plan is to have it make an appearance after the Mark of Submission's highlight moment: the caster gains greater control over the mental properties of the target but has a much more limited level of what they can do to the target's physical aspects.

the Mark of Devotion-- planned to feature much later in the story with a character that will make an appearance after quite a few chapters: Happens when the target willingly, and genuinely, devotes themself to the caster, grants the target to alter their own physical properties based on what both they want and the caster's profile, only the target can alter their mental aspects but only if the caster approves of the changes, physical changes can also be influenced by various elements present in the target's own profile and lineage.
