A Preppy Coed Chad Knows

John double checked the instructions:

The square amber ring belonged to the owner and gave him control of the other four.
Once a person put one of the four control rings on, she could not remove it without permission from the owner nor ask anyone else to remove it.
The wearer of the ring with the clear stone would know she had to obey the owner and know what was happening.
The wearer of the blue ring would believe whatever the owner said without question.
The wearer of the red ring would be overcome with lust for the owner and would do anything to please him.
The wearer of the green ring could have triggers implanted and would have no idea the owner was behind it. The owner simply had to whisper the trigger into his master ring.

He slipped on the amber ring and it seemed to change in size to perfectly fit his right hand ring finger. He slipped the other rings into the black silk bag they came in. He then went out on campus. After several minutes, he spotted a possible target.

Her name was Brooklyn Starks, and she had graduated in Chad's class. She was wealthy and never wore the same outfit twice in a month, and never even wore jeans. Chad did not know her very well as they ran in different circles, but he did know she seemed to get along with his bitchy step-sister. He approached her. "Excume me, Brooklyn."

"Do I know you...you look familiar."

"I'm Chad Berman. We went to Crestwood together."

"Oh yeah. Um, what's up?"

"I'm doing on project. I asked a girl to put on ring, and she has to tell me a few things about it."

"I have a few minutes before I have to meet some friends, but sure."

Chad reached in the bag and chose the blue ring. He handed it to Brooklyn. As she slid it on, it seemed to fit her perfectly.

Chad decided to give it a test. "Be careful, the biology and zoology departments engineered flying dogs, and they have been crapping on people."

"Oh my god!" Brookly looked up with a worried look on her face. She scanned the sky.

Chad thought either the ring was working or maybe Brookly was just really gullible. He decided on another test.
