A Powerful Warrior Wife

Xena is a fighter, through and through. During the war, she has shown both impressive physical prowesses and a tactician's mind.

There is no need to waste such a talent, Stella thinks. If she is to keep this marvelous emerald hottie by her side, it can only be helpful for her if she is also able to protect her. Her new bedfellow would double as a bodyguard. She smiles as the notion.

"So, what's your plan with me," the orc asks, a hint of defiance in her voice.

"I want you to be my wife."

Stella's blunt request takes Xena by surprise, who look back with her mouth agape.

"I am a powerful sorceress, you are a powerful warrior. Together, we can protect and aid one another."

"Wh-"

"Furthermore," she cuts her off, "I find you rather... fetching." The word fetching is an important understatement here, as Stella has to make a constant effort to stop her body from throwing itself at the attractive warrior in front of her.

"I... I don't know what to say. Do I get a choice, or will you simply mesmerize me into accepting if I dare say no?"

Xena is much more cunning than she seems. Stella cannot help but feel torn on that last remark. She is not usually one to pay mind to the moralistic concept of "free will", but there is something about this girl that makes her pause.

"I will not mesmerize you yet," the witch states. She does not promise her that she will never retort to mind control, but for the moment she chooses to try seducing her without magical aid.

The orc crosses her arms and stares back with doubtful eyes. "So be it. I refuse your marriage proposal. How could I even know that I want to be wed to you when I barely know you?"

Stella's eyebrows raise up. She had half-expected the orc to claim that she would never marry a human, or that she was already engaged back home or in love with another orc from her tribe. But her prisoner has merely refused the offer on the grounds that they don't know each other well enough, an issue which she can fix in due time.

She would have to work to seduce the proud warrior; She welcomes the challenge.
