A Mermaid

You continue through the woods, hunger on your mind and thirst driving you to drink from the first water source you could find. In doing so, you unintentionally angered the being of the large lagoon and are instantly pulled under the water, being dragged down despite your kicking and thrashing. Their sharp fingernails are dug deep into your flesh, drawing a slight bit of blood that taints the water crimson around you whilst your lungs scream out in oxygen depravity.

'Well, this is how I die then.'

You think to yourself as you begin to experience tunnel vision and your sight begins to black out...

In the midst of blacking out, you feel plump lush lips crush against your own and immediately, you are revived with oxygen you so desperately need. There is a musuclar tail beating against the water as you are pulled deeper into the lagoon and the darkness gives away to an eerie glow of algae once your head breaks the surface of the water. The creature breaks the kiss and pushes you up onto the stone flooring of the cave before pulling herself up beside you and patting your back as you vomit up a little water. You can finally see the creature that'd tried drowning you before changing their mind. It was a mermaid!
