"Ugh! I figured with Team MZ gone this whole thing would be a cakewalk, but some of these people are &$#*@# insane!" Canari snarled as she stormed down one of Lumios's many back alleys as a shortcut to the Pokemon Center, having just suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of--
"What was that chicks name? Namina? Nemana? Ugh! Why are people from Paldea so @#&$ tough!"
She angrily kicked a loose pebble. She was expecting the sound of metal from it hitting a dumpster or something, but rather the busty streamer heard something unexpected.
"...Mar?!"
A shocked cry of a Pokemon.
She watched as a Malamar revealed itself, but not just any Malamar, a Mega Malamar.
"Woah!!! A Malamar? Are you the Malamar of that detective chick?" She asked... Then realized the scowl on its face, along with a small bruise on its cheek.
"Oh crap. Did I hit YOU with that rock?!"
Before she could even consider what to say or do next, Malamar began to spin it's tentacles, creating a hypnotic pattern in front of her.
