A Geek

The four of you stroll down near the engineering building. You really aren’t quite sure why. Then you see him. He is a scrawny thing with metal frame glasses. His outfit is an Oxford shirt with loose jeans.

“Tell me what you see, Maggie.”

You look at him. You feel like you can see inside him.

“See his insecurities, his secret fears, Maggie.”

You realize that’s what you’re seeing. The silly boy is brilliant, but he fears he isn’t as smart as his parents or his peers. He fears he is worthless. Your lips twist into a grin.

“You’re a natural, Maggie.”

You strut towards him with Phoebe at your side and Molly and Diana a step behind.

You bump him, knocking loose his books.

“What the matter with you. You bumped into me you, geek.”

“I didn’t…I mean I’m sorry?”

“What are you, stupid? Do you know if you’re sorry? I mean shouldn’t you know things?”

“I…”

Phoebe interjects. “You worthless piece of shit. You bumped into my friend.”

“Sorry!”

“Not good enough. Are you this slow with all your friends?”

Behind you Molly and Diana are pointing and laughing.

Phoebe smirks. “I bet your parents are so proud of their little moron.”

The boy simply gets up and runs, leaving his books behind. You feel incredible.

Diana and Molly step by your side.

Molly grins. “You are, fucking amazing, Maggie!”

“Diana looks at Phoebe and smiles. “I had my doubts when Phoebe said you’d help lead us. I was so fucking wrong, Maggie. I’d follow you anywhere.”

You love Diana’s deference. You spend the next couple hours finding a few more students to take down a peg. After leaving some twiggy blonde in tears Phoebe whispers to you.

“They’re going to be even more scared of you than they are of me.”

The very thought makes you hot.

You turn to head back when you see her. She is a mousy petite girl chock full of fears and insecurities.

“We have to do her.”

Phoebe frowns. “I afraid we can’t help you with her. Mariska forbid it.”

“Why?”

“Some deal she made. You are free to savage her though. Besides, we need to get heading back if we’re going to party tonight.”

“Catch you later, girls.”

They head back towards the dorm. You could pursue the mousy girl or go home and get ready to party.
