Chapter 9
by Jnightshade
What broke your routine?
A Challenge
You are about to begin training when a pierced and tattooed blonde struts toward you purposefully.
“You’ve had Ezekiel long enough. It’s my turn bitch. I challenge you.”
“Barb, as alpha it is your prerogative, but I would caution you against it.”
“Fuck that. I challenge you Erin.”
You step of the bike unsure what to do.
“You must accept the challenge or leave the group, Erin.”
“But, I’m not done training.”
“Then accept the challenge.”
“I accept.”
“You choice of weapons, bitch.”
“Hands.”
“I was hoping you’d say that.”
A large circle forms around you two. Barb circles you like a bird of prey. She closes the gap between you suddenly, with a viscous roundhouse kick. A week ago it might have hit you. Now you dodge with ease.
She charges you hard swinging blow after blow. You blow her with little effort. You separate. You can see the rage building in her eyes. She charges you again. Her blows are faster and harder, but with each time you block she grows sloppier.
“Is that all you’ve got?”
“Fucking bitch!”
She charges you. Her momentum carries her past you and you execute a spin kick to the back of her head. She flips headfirst to the ground.
She turns over. Her face is bloody. She screams a scream of primal rage and hurtles herself at you.
You don’t want to kill her. You sweep kick her knee. She goes down again hard. She stands up favoring one leg.
“Yield.”
“Over my dead body.”
She limps at you and swing a fist. You block it and punch her face. She goes down in a motionless heap.
Ezekiel grins at you. “She has lost. You have the right to kill her, if you so chose.”
“Kill her? No. What I did is punishment enough.”
Ezekiel massages your shoulders. It feels good.
“You are amazing. How do you feel?”
How do you feel?
