Char confused pushed Ella off to the left, causing the knife to miss him by inches. Ella was able to get off the bed, with help walked over to the child and bent down to pick the child up, who immediately latched his lips onto her right nipple and sucked away waiting for his drink of milk.

Without thinking, Ella carried the suckling child out of the chamber, back into the main room of the coronation. Just by the raised Dais of the thrones sat Char on a throne, a pair of maidens waving their hands into his face as if fanning him. One sight of a naked Ella and Char jumped to his feet and cried out.

“From the room you took me into Char!”
