Jack met with his friends at his house for board game night like every Friday. He placed the game on the table in front of them

Jack was a geeky guy with a fondness for retro games. His day job was working at the local hobby shop by himself since they cut staff to be one man stores.

Aziz was a polisci graduate working on at a book store. He tends to enjoy reading the manga their when he's not busy.

Yoshi is a librarian for the town public library. He spends most of his time on the PCs or his phone doomscrolling.

Martin is a convenience store clerk with a love of movies who still buys bluerays.

"Who wants to play Jumanji!" Jack said unpacking the board game.

Aziz, Martin, and Yoshi grabbed their pieces yellow, purple, and red matching their shirts. Jack grabbed the green one remaining.

"Why is my piece carved into the shape of a woman?" Aziz asked.

"Feminization edition?" Martin asked, "Did you get us a sex game Jack."

"No," Jack said, "It's a knock off of the OG Jumanji game from the movie-"

"Um actually," Aziz said, "It was a book before it was a movie."

As they were talking everyone's pieces flew onto the board.

"Fuck!-" Yoshi shouted.

"Shit!" Martin said looking at the board, "Did you read the rules? There is a warning not to start playing unless you intend to finish. We should close the box and forget we ever opened the game!"
