She cackled like crazy “Mayhaps it won’t, but it would be interesting to see if it works. When one strongly of a type of being uses one of these crystals, their claimed Domain shifts to be more like what they be, and that in turn may strengthen them while they be in their Domain. It will fuel them, and let them grow. Ye will not be vampire, with a vampire’s weaknesses and strengths. Ye will be a powerful Dhampire, a warlock, necromancer, demonologist, blood and shadow mage, and much more, if things work out.”

You listen and ask her “What be the catch?”

“Right now ye be too weak for this. Ye may claim the place you seek, and how the right to twist it to thy desire, but thy essence is not powerful enough to truly twist it to thy desire and nature. Ye would have to change it by brute ****, and plan things well, where if ye be strong enough, the place itself shall be as if an extension of ye.”

“And how do you plan to help.”

She looked at the materials there “I be able to do a ritual to help unlock thy affinities, making it easier for ye to multiclass into ones that use them.

“For that I need to claim this place and repair my shrine, using onyx and silver ore among other things.”

Her eyes flickered over at the barbarian for just a moment. Yeah, she meant blood, probably lethal amounts.

“I will need more onyx and silver than this. I will also need this place protected while I set things up and do the ritual.”

“How much more onyx and silver?”

“One unit of silver, or 3 silver ore, and 2 units of onyx.”

“What else is needed?”

“Grave dust, ash of a holy text, a bundle of 13 twigs of holly a foot long and some other things I have here.”
