Almost the instant the Interface Device was around her neck, Megan felt a twinge in her bladder. “I should have used the bathroom before this,” she thought. “It would be nice if I could just pee standing here and not have to worry about it right now.”

As soon as she had the thought, the device hummed and her thought re-molded reality to make her thought possible.

The twinge on her bladder went away, a spreading warmth around her center barely noticed to Megan who was soon busy with the planned basic tests of the device, tests it passed with flying colors.

“Well,” Megan said as the last test concluded. “That went about as well as it possibly could have!”

Dr. Scott clapped with excitement. “Yes, it was wonderful! I knew you could do it, Megan!” Her expression grew a bit calmer, more maternal almost, as she continued, “But don’t think I didn’t see that face you made at the beginning, Megan. Great advances in science don’t mean you can get out of potty training. Let’s check your pull-up and see if it’s as wet as I suspect.”
