‘Help’ at the airport

Just then the others walked up to Lauren and the employee.

“What’s wrong?” Kyle asked.

“I’ll tell you what’s wrong!” Lauren whined. “The stupid airline lost my luggage! All my clothes, everything is gone!”

“As I was trying to say, your bag will probably turn up.” The receptionist said helpfully. “We’ll call as soon as it turns up.”

“There! Not so bad.” May said, eager to join the Spring Break crowds outside.

“But… I dont have anything to wear!” Lauren pointed out.

“Oh, that’s fine.” Britney said with a sly grin. “We’ll loan you clothes.”

“Yes, I think I have the perfect bikini for you.” Rachel chuckled.

All these girls knew Lauren was a total premadonna who would never wear secondhand clothes. They also all hated her for various spats over the years.

“There! It’s decided.”Kyle said, oblivious to the drama. “Now let’s get going!”
