[Writer Notes] Background Notes

So, I've got a couple little Headcanons and/or background 'facts' that should help facilitate the story I'm writing here. If you don't wanna use them, that's fine, that's great! I just wanna write these down so that I don't have to keep writing similar things for every branch I write.

• Everyone on Remnant ages gracefully. Doesn't really affect much overall yet, but if we wanna talk about the characters years on, I don't wanna have to deal with imagining them all wrinkly.
• Aura acts as support for breasts long-term. No saggy breasts for Huntresses that decide not to use a bra.
• Public Indecency is a crime, and cops WILL prosecute, but the punishment is usually more along the lines of a slap on the wrist and possibly releasing the fact that you like to walk around underdressed to the public. It IS still taboo societally.
• Huntsmen and Huntresses are kind of a combination of local security, superhero, soldier, and celebrity. Some people follow news of them like famous athletes or actors, and as such, any incidents regarding them tend to linger in the public mind more than for regular people.
• Aura cannot be used as a contraceptive, but can be used for assisted reproduction
• What your Aura protects is linked to your personal image of yourself, which is one of the reasons why Huntsmen and Huntresses have so much more individuality than most types of armed forces.
• Unless they have heavy personal issues, most crime bosses on Remnant would prefer to bribe or defeat a Huntsman or Huntress than kill them. After all, the Grimm don't care who they kill.
• Beacon is an academy with Co-Ed dorms and teaches people in preparation for a very dangerous profession. This is not news. What is news is that the Academy doesn't advertise it, but any student or graduate of Beacon can make use of the Nursery and Daycare on the premises. You really think that Ozpin puts young adults in Co-Ed dorms for a Huntsman Academy and expect the phrase, "You don't want to die a virgin, do you?" to NOT come up? He just doesn't advertise it because he doesn't want his students to be careless or the public to think that Huntsman and Huntresses are promiscuous.
• Beacon students get a stipend from the school for 'various supplies.' as well as their first set of uniforms for free, though replacements require payment.
