[Rules and Explanations] "Pixie, what the hell is going on?"

So you're probably wondering if I'm having a mental breakdown, or experiencing some kind of personality dissociation crisis to write a thread about... Myself...

I'm fine!

To stress, this is not a 'Role Play' for me as such - but more an opportunity to explore and interrogate my own thoughts and desires by treating myself as I would a character in my own writing. I hope to create a challenging dialogue and put myself in the position of needing to react to things being genuinely out of my control... Yes, it's weird... Yes, it's meta... And probably a bit pretentious too...

Real names of people and places will be changed.

Obviously this is heavily inspired by the brilliant thread of similar concept by AliC (Please go read it if you haven't already!)

...Ok Pixie, that's all well and good but... What's the actual idea here?

I'll be writing this thread with full 'audience participation' via straw polls, just like the other threads in the story.

The rules are basically the same as in AliCs introduction, and the original 'Bimbo or Billionaire' on Mcstories, (the full rules are written out at the end of this chapter).

The 'twist' is that unlike in other threads, I won't have control over the choices that you, the audience, will vote on after opening one of the boxes.

Instead, in order to get a set of suggestions that are completely out of my control (but not so many as to make voting on them impractical), a 'Jury' of authors will present 1 suggestion each.

Who's on 'The Jury'?

Writers that have graciously and generously agreed to donate their time and ideas for this weird experimental thread, (You're all amazing x ).

The identities of the members of the Jury will remain totally anonymous (unless they all agree to reveal themselves to each other or the audience).

Ok... So how will it work?

For this thread, the rules of the game are as follows:

The rules:

1. The game is made up of 20 boxes. 10 contain punishment categories, 5 contain reward categories, 5 contain cash prizes. (These are: Sexuality, Hair & Makeup, Boobs, Body, Grab Bag, Clothes, Lifestyle, Mind, Compulsion, Wild Card, $10,000, $100,000, $1,000,000, $10,000,000, $1,000,000,000, Wish, Reverse Change, Veto*, Abilities & Powers, Harmony)
2. In each round, the contestant (Pixie) will choose to open 1 of the 20 boxes at random (using an online spinner: https://pickerwheel.com/pw?id=PY3fC ) - revealing either a cash prize or a Category.
3. If a cash prize is revealed, this is added to Pixie's total.
4. If a Category is revealed, a jury of chosen authors will each submit 1 transformation or change based on the category for Pixie to receive.
5. When all members of the jury have submitted their ideas, these will be presented to the audience (Readers). The audience will be invited to vote in a straw-poll to select their preferred change.
6. The straw poll will remain open until 1 week has passed or the poll has received 200 votes.
7. The Transformation or Change with the most votes will then be applied to Pixie.
8. If 2 or more choices are exactly tied, Pixie receives all of the tied transformations or changes.
9. The opened box is removed from the game.
10. Once the Box's effects have been applied, the round is over and Pixie will select a new box at the start of the next round.
11. After the 5th, 8th, 10th, 12th and all subsequent rounds. Pixie will receive an offer from 'The Accountant' in order to end the game. This offer will be in the form of a trade.
12. The game ends automatically when Pixie has opened all of the cash prize boxes.

To increase the unpredictability, each member of the jury will modify or add 1 rule of the game before it starts.
That means that as of the next chapter some of the rules above may be different, but that's part of the fun.
