Chapter 10
by Tosaphine
You...
[Play along]
Whatever... You don't dislike the treatment so far. So what if she thinks you're her pet? You still get laid... Maybe you'll get fed as well. Hopefully you won't be **** to bark...
But overall, the thought doesn't sting as much as it should.
As for the feisty greenie... She feels like more than you can chew. Then again, a bowl of whatever they're cooking doesn't sound half bad. That's two invitations already. One more and you're basically royalty.
...
You turn to the 'smart' goblin, eyes wide and pitiful like a dog left out in the rain. She catches your stare and locks eyes with you. She feels different... Different eyes. Different ears... Chest is smaller. Butt is bigger. Compared to Kaasx, of course. She's also got long, ashy hair that ends in hacked-off trims, hinting dagger rather than scissors. Her 'clothing' actually hides some skin too. Loincloth's down to her knees, the chestwrap with neither cleavage nor underboob. Scandalous.
By contrast, Elx is everything but that modesty you get from Thalk. She's shorter, sharper, with a perpetual smirk that dares you to misbehave. Her skin glows like polished moss, and her amber eyes flash with mischief any time they land on you. Her loincloth hangs loose and her chest wrap seems more like an accessory that a breeze could argue with.
"What?..." Thalk asks, bashful. She watches your eyes trace her, her hands scrambling to follow the path. Shoulders. Waist. Hips. They fumble to cover whatever part your eyes land on.
This is what you were afraid of?
Really?...
Looks can be misleading, sure. But there’s only one way to really tell. You’d have to feel her. Hold her. Probe her softness with your palms, see if there's any muscle snuggled up in there. But food first.
"Human hungry," you mutter like a whipped dog, watching the others freeze mid-argument as you become the center of attention.
"Oh, human come too," Kaasx chirps, bouncing like she makes the decision for everyone. She hops to her feet, pulls up her loincloth, and wipes cum off her leg with a fistful of flattened grass. But when she touches the damp fur, she frowns and peels it off entirely.
"Hehe..." the playful goblin hums a tempting laugh. "Kaasx, make deal with Elx. Elx give candy, Kaasx give human."
Kaasx frowns, hand to chin, eyes blank as she considers it. She doesn't seem so against it anymore. But why the hell are you being traded like meat at a market? Not that the outcome would hurt you, but...
You take a quick glance at Elx. She catches it and smiles, as if she knows what's in your head. And... it actually flusters you?... Yeah, you won't have much say if you land in her bed.
Maybe feeling left out, the smart goblin coughs once, drawing a mocking look from Elx.
"Thalk want human too?" Elx teases in a pitchy tone. "Elx can share."
Elx blows a kiss your way while Thalk vehemently waves her arms to dismiss Elx's idea. "No! Food! Come eat, now!" she barks before shooting you a glare and a command. "Human too!"
You celebrate internally, pulling yourself to a sitting position. You're still covered in juices and dried cream, but you'd rather take a dip in some nearby river than rub yourself against the grass like Kaasx. As for that insistent objection... Yeah, it hurts. But Elx's fuck-me looks land better with that as comparison.
Finally, Kaasx comes to a decision. She counts her fingers once, then lifts both hands to Elx with eight fingers raised. Elx gives it a long, thoughtful look before raising six of her own. Eventually, the two agree at seven.
Seven candy. That's your going rate on the goblin market. Good? Bad? You don't know.
Just as Kaasx moves to grab her breastwrap, fingers grazing the edge, you're already on your feet, snatching it before she can.
She pauses, head tilted, confused. She can't tell you're doing it as petty **** for being sold. Meanwhile, you don't care about the confusion and continue holding the furry leather in your hand while she stares... Until she lets go.
Maybe she remembers she tore your clothes to shreds. She can't complain now. Smiling, you grip the fur tighter, already picturing how it'll look on your wall. Your first trophy in this fucked up, goblin-filled chapter of life.
If they can trade you, maybe you can own them.
You want more. A marble room to hang trophies. A life where you're in charge.
While the other two also try to make sense of what just happened, you grab your sword and buckle the sheath across your bare waist. The chill bites like winter, but cools your thoughts like a breath of fresh air. Among them, one stands strong. Goblins. Maybe other creatures too... The thought excites you, makes you shiver.
They notice it, eyes shifting. Tension crawls back into the air while you sigh, long and loud.
You're too tired for another misunderstanding. You're itching for a fuck, not slaughter.
"Kaasx,' you say, eyes never leaving the other two, "tell them about the deal we have."
Kaasx strikes her chest, proud. "Kaasx make peace with human. Kaasx make human happy, human no stab."
"Oooh! Kaasx smart!" Elx praises with a lengthy breath and a little clap. "Thalk, make deal with human too! Human watch Thalk like bunny. Elx know human like Thalk."
You take an involuntary glance at Thalk.
"Rrrr!" Thalk growls, turning towards the camp and leaving first. Just before she turns away, you catch it. A blush, twisted into a slutty little smirk.
So even the shiest one's secretly plotting against you... Ironically, Elx seems like the most trustworthy. She even wears the worry to her face as she hesitates to approach you. Only after Kaasx steps to your side and locks arms with you does Elx do the same, though slower.
While the two tug at your arms to pull you closer to the camp, Thalk already reaches it. To your left, Elx makes as many cute sounds as she can to get you to look at her, Kaasx yanking your arm hard every time your head turns the wrong way.
Never would you have thought you'd end up with two forest girlfriends fighting over you. But in that case...
Make way for the man! You're here to eat their food and fuck their wives.
You're here for...

Monster (S)layer
Demoted swordsman with an acquired taste for monster flesh
You’ve been discharged. It wasn't lack of skill. Your sword lost purpose. The drive to swing had died the day your parents did. Now you're back in the mud where you started, lost and without family. No legacy. No glory. Just a shack, a sword, and a shitty patch of rocky soil that grows more weeds than food. Of course, you can't cry about it forever. There are so other many things you could do. That you could be. Or maybe you’ll fuck those up too.
