(Subplot) The Frog Problem

So far, Tania felt her secret mission had been going about as well as it possibly could. Much as Rebecca had predicted, the glitches had fallen for her story hook, line and sinker and welcomed her into their group with open arms. All except one - that bloody frog that had already tripped her up once before. She simply couldn't afford for that to happen again.

The Lexie situation was a difficult one to know how to handle. Had it been any of the other glitches causing her these type of problems Tania's best solution might have been to whip out her wand and transform them into a toad. However, even though she was already in amphibious form, Lexie was still an issue. Tania had considered the idea of smuggling the frog out of the mansion and into a pet shop, but that was hardly a perfect plan. Rebecca had assured her that it would be weeks or even months before the spell Lexie was under wore off. But it would do, eventually. And if that happened before her mission was complete then Tania's cover would surely be blown.

The saboteur did have a couple of other magic based ideas for silencing Lexie if she absolutely had to, but she would prefer not to go down that route if she could find another. It would be much better if she could win her trust and friendship and save the spellbook for when it was really needed. Tania made her way over to where Barbie, probably still her strongest ally in the group, was sitting with Lexie perched comfortably in her cleavage.

"Hey you two, I thought I would come and say hello!" Tania smiled.

"Hey Tania! How are you settling in?" Barbie beamed back.

"Great, everyone has been so kind and welcoming!" Tania answered "Look, I wanted to apologise to you both for my dishonesty before. I feel I particularly owe it to you guys since we hung out the most before my deception came to light. But I wanted you to know I really genuinely enjoyed our conversations"

"I did too, sweetie!" Barbie smiled, stroking Tania's arm, though Lexie remained silent "Hey, Lex, why don't you hop into Tania's tits for a while. They look absolutely delectable."

"Yes, you are more than welcome there!" Tania offered. However, Lexie stayed where she was.

"Don't mind her" Barbie reassured Tania "She hasn't taken to James yet either. She usually needs time to warm to people. I have only seen Lex take an instant liking to one person ever, and she is married to her now. In fact..." Barbie was stroking Lexie's back tenderly as she spoke "For the longest time Lexie didn't like or trust me at all. But now I would say..." she paused for a moment before deciding to go with this "I would say Lexie is my best friend"

The frog chirped happily in agreement with this revelation.

"So what was she like, before, you know..." Tania wondered.

"Here, I'll show you a photo!"

Barbie reached for a framed shot of all sixteen glitches together that had been taken during happier times in Lovelock. Everyone in the photo was smiling, except for a tattooed, black and blue haired girl near the front who was standing with her arms folded and a serious, almost vigilant expression on her face. Barbie pointed her finger at her.

"That's Lexie"

"Bloody hell, she's gorgeous!"

Tania wasn't flattering Lexie either. She was exactly the hot, brooding, bad girl type she would have gone for under any normal circumstance.

"Lexie is truly beautiful inside and out. She's just a little rough around the edges until you really get to know her" Barbie cooed as she tickled Lexie's little frog belly, making her chirrup "I'm not surprised she was the first one to get transformed by Rebecca though. You see, Lexie has always been a triple threat. She is smart, perceptive and incredibly persistent. Even as a frog, she is still a serious threat to that witch. Trust me!"

"Oh, I do" Tania nodded.

And she did. The Lexie problem was clearly one that was going to have to be dealt with sooner or later if Tania was going to have a clear run in the mansion. And sooner was starting to look like the better option.
