The in-universe explanation for why this is is because despite being top billed, Katie wasn't a recognizable face in Europe as she was in the States. So when the film was being marketed in Europe - especially the Romance speaking countries - all the posters featured Italian actress Monica Bellucci in the Rachel role despite not being in the film due to audiences over there being more familiar with her. Plus her huge tits made the posters more eye-catching ).
