"She" Can Try

A few steps down the street, JaMalia walks into what happens to be a salon. Luckily, it looks like they have an open chair. A stylist greets her, "Oh please come in Miss Johnson. Please sit right here." Shocked, JaMalia asks, "You know me?" "We saw your picture on the television sports report." The stylist answered.

"I would like my make up done over." JaMalia states. "You surely should." The stylist agreed. As she went to work removing the previous applications, JaMalia blurts, "What's a salon doing open at this time of the evening?" The stylist answered while applying a thick concealer foundation, "It's New York, Silly! The city that never sleeps." JaMalia asks "Is there a boutique nearby? I feel like shopping."

"Sure. On the corner." She replies as she finishes with a blending brush. "You might benefit from electrolysis." JaMalia asks, "What's that?" "You come in with a little stubble and we are able to fairly painlessly remove your facial hair." "Uh, not tonight." As she digs out a hundo and hands it to the stylist and leaves. "Now, for some different clothes."

"May I help you, um, Miss?" The boutique clerk asks. "Yes. Thank you. I would like a more comfy, casual outfit." JaMalia stated. "Ok. Do you know your sizes?" The sales clerk asks. JaMalia finds Adrianna's cheat sheet in her purse and hands it over. "Well ok then!" The clerk went to work. In about five minutes, JaMalia was staring at six different new outfits that included shorts, strapped tops, yoga pants, a short skirt with jacket, a dress and even a one piece bathing suit. "Would you like to try them on?" "Uh, no thanks. I'll take them." "Ok. If you have trouble with any of these items, you can bring them back for an exchange. Thank you, Ma'am!"

The next day: Back at team HQ for practice.

JaMalia walks in wearing her new yoga pants, strapped T shirt top and jacket. "Adrianna, can I have electrolysis done in our salon?" "Are you sure you want that, Miss Johnson?" "Every time I shave, it messes up my make up and I'm not very good at fixing it."
