"I can't help but think that I've forgotten something..."

Ishihara Atsuko was fast asleep, hugging her plushie pony tightly. The twenty-one year old was nervous for her first job as an officer worker, and was terrified of making a bad impression. She just knew that she was going to say something stupid, or accidently insult someone, or create some a huge mess for everybody.

Still, she tried to remain optimistic. She made some bunny-shaped loafs of bread to treat her new coworkers, so at least her first impression won't be a complete disaster.

But the light peaking from the curtains was surprisingly bright. She peeked at her alarm clock, checking the time.

6:12

"Surprisingly bright for this time." Said Atsuko confused. She lay down again, when her eyes shot wide open.

The alarm clock blinked.

She threw the sheets off of her and jumped out of bed. Atsuko quickly grabbed her phone. "Please, don't let it be..."

8:13

"OH MY GOD, I'VE OVERSLEPT FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR!" Shouted Atsuko. She dashed into the shower, almost ripping of her pajama. Afterwards she ran into the kitchen and stuffed her face with breakfast, almost **** in her miso soup. She brushed her teeth and did her hair. She put on her socks and shoes and dashed out of the apartment. She ran down the stairs, skipping every other step. She grabbed her bike and rode it as fast as a cheetah on steroids.

"Darn it Atsuko, I knew that I'd screw this up somehow. I just wished it was after my first day had started." She cursed to herself. As she raced through the streets, she saw several onlookers stare at her in confusion. My God, the people must be thinking that I'm mad to ride my bike this hard. But I can't slow down, not while I can still make it!"

She dropped her bike by the entrance and darted inside. She called an elevator, and jumped inside without looking inside. This was something she should've done, because there was a mirror in the back of the elevator. If she had looked, she would've known what the onlookers (and presumably you, the readers) knew.

Save for her shoes, socks and id, Atsuko was...

Buck naked.

"8:55. Somehow I made it!" Cheered Atsuko, sweat dripping down her forehead. "And yet, I can't help but think that I've forgotten something..."

The doors of the elevator opened up, and two coworkers were about to enter, only to be in complete shock at the sight of the girl. Wanting to show initiative, she bowed down and said, "I'm Ishihara Atsuko. It's a pleasure meeting you."

Utterly confused, the two men answered. "O-Okamoto Ryota."

"Tanaka Kayo."

The two didn't know if this was part of a prank or something, yet neither had gathered the courage yet to point her nudity out to her, so they got on the elevator with her.

"So, Ishihara, How do I put this...?" Asked Kayo, trying to bite the bullet.

"Excited for my first day? You bet!" Said Atsuko, making a confident smile. "I actually had a bit of trouble catching some sleep. And thanks to a brief power outage I almost overslept. I really had to rush here."

"You don't say..." Grinned Ryota.

"Oh, here's my floor." Said Atsuko, as she walked out of the elevator. "Hope to see you two soon."

"I definitely hope so too." Ryota tried to hold his laughter.

Once alone, Kayo rubbed the back of his neck as he asked, "Should we have told her about her nudity?'

"Of course not." Refuted Ryota. "That must've been a prank. No one is that absentminded..."

As Atsuko walked further, she stopped dead in her tracks. She knew what she had forgotten...

"I forgot the bunny loafs!"
