RWBY had set up a campsite in an abandoned building with DR Oobleck. Ruby had volunteered to take first watch and was sitting on the roof looking through crescent roses scope. as she was looking around she subconsciously reached into her pocket and pulled out her scroll. she scrolled through her contacts till she came up to R and texted him the location.
as she kept up her watch a few white fang agents snuck towards the building. they stayed in the shadows for the most part, but even if she did see them ruby just thought it was her eyes playing tricks on her. eventually her shift came to an end and she switched with Blake. by this point the whole building was surrounded by the white Fang.
