"just getting what I need. this base used to be one of Orochimaru's hideouts. it was only through dumb luck that I had found it. apparently he had used this base for one experiment in particular. the result of the experiment was failure in the end but it has everything I need," he said.

"and what experiment was it," she asked.

"he was trying to find a way to turn even the most loyal of shinobi into sleeper agents for Konoha. he had tried several avenues but most resulted in failure. but he did have one experiment that showed promise, but he eventually dismissed it. this was due to it failing in the main goal and the full process burning through to many resources," he said. he grabbed something on the bench and walked up to hinata from behind.

he opened a collar in his hand and locked it around Hinata's neck. "he had come up with this plan after studying the Yamanaka mind possession technique. His intention was to find a way to engage the jutsu remotely. that way they could stage an escape with the unknown sleeper agent returning to their village. unfortunately the device failed without this obvious collar on the victims and he never found anything else not even seals seemed to work."

"then what is your plan then because everyone will notice this collar on me if you try it," Hinata said.

"true but you see I have a plan that will allow me to remove the collar. in fact he Orochimaru had suspected this plan but never got to test it. he might have after he went rouge but I'm not sure," he said.

"What do you plan to do," asked Hinata with a bit of fear in her voice.
