stop for the night

John and the rest of the group where halfway through the land of rivers when it got dark so they set up camp in a small clearing. John collected the firewood and set the fire. Saori built the tents. Rasseru stood at the edge of camp, searching for enemies. Only Okubyōmonothen and Settoappu did absolutely nothing, the forest really came to life at night. once finished setting up and eating John sat in a tree and listened. He loved these sounds. He could spend hours listening to nature. after listing to nature for awhile John feel asleep in the tree.

John wakes up early in the morning. he jumps down from the tree and stretched while stretching John noticed that everyone was still asleep so he decided to go for a walk to a nearby river and back. once John was at the river he decided to splash some water on his face. after splashing water on himself John noticed something the bottom of the river reflecting the sun. so John decided to take his clothes off and jump in and see what it is.

once John was at the bottom of the riverbed he swam towards whatever is at the bottom. when John got to the object it looked like the tip of two swords. so John started sweeping the sand off the swords. after a few times coming back up for air John finally got the swords free from the sand. so he took the swords back up to dry land he set the swords down and looked at them. the

pair of swords, each with slim and straight double-edged blades. Both blades also have an upward-curved bladed prong near the tip of one side of the blade and another one near the base of the blade's other side. when John was done looking at the swords he put his clothes back on and put the swords behind his back and walked back to camp

when John got back to camp he saw nine bandits standing over his teammates, teacher, and Settoappu. a red aura enveloped his entire body. His eyes turn red and he roared. His roar was so loud, that the ninjas surrounding turned around and looked at John. All of the bandits looked on in wonder and fear as this kid changed into some kind of monster. With another roar, he moved. In the blink of an eye, he attacked

John stared at his surroundings. All of the ninjas were dead. Their body parts were strewn across the path. Blood was smeared across the surrounding trees. after awhile John finally snapped out of it when he went back to normal he fainted. The transformation uses his own energy and he couldn't stay awake when it ended. the last thing John saw was someone with red hair wearing a black cloak with a red cloud on it. and he had a puppet with him
