step-brother intervenes.

Just as Doe kisses you, you hear the front door open.
You break away from Doe and turn to see your step-brother Josh standing in the doorway looking perplexed.
Your cheeks flame red and you get up from your compromising position.
You completely forgot your brother was visiting you today! Josh goes to college in Orlando and called you to come visit while your parents went to Italy for a second honeymoon since you haven't seen him in the three years he's been at college.
"Um, hey Josh! I completely forgot you were coming today!" You try to cover up your embarrassment and walk over to your brother as Doe stands and composes his posture.
Josh gives Doe a hard look and leans in to hug you. Even when you were 15 Josh was very overprotective and didn't approve of your boundless friendship with Doe.
"Hey, kiddo. Its been so long since I saw you, you've grown up." He hugs you and smiles his charming smile down at you.
You return the hug awkwardly.
As a teenager, all your girl friends had major crushes on Josh. He was the perfect boy. Quarterback, class president, charming and of course very good looking with blond hair, clear blue eyes and a boyish face. His dad married your mom five years ago and you both got along really well.
You shoot Doe an apologetic look, "Um, ill call you later, okay? Promise."
Doe glances at his feet and runs a hand through his hair.
"Yeah, later." He mutters and walks out the door, past Josh, who's glaring at him.
"So you're still friends with that tool?" Josh sets his bags down and walks into the kitchen.
"He's my best friend, Josh." You sigh.
"Just saying. You can do better, especially now." Josh says, leaning against the kitchen counter and assessing you head to toe, in your tight tank top and shorts. You blush, his gaze making you tingle and feel very unsisterly.
But then he smiles at you, "God, I missed you, Blair."
And you melt, hugging him again, "I missed you, too."
