stand and watch

Diana follows "Wonder Woman" to the fence.

At the fence, they both can see a warehouse that's still in pretty goods hape save for a few weeds growing in the cracks of the pavement around it and up the sides of the wall. It looks to have only been abandoned a few months ago. There is a limo and a black SUV parked outside.

"The hostages are in there," says the faux Wonder Woman. "I don't like the fact that limo is there. That's bad news."

Diana looks at the warehouse and notices a sign over th front door: "Sex Maven's Toy Haven."

"Sex toys?" asks Diana.

"Keep your voice down!" hisses the woman. "At least try to ACT professional!" she says in a stern whispered warning.

Diana blushes at the reprimand.

"We need to go in now," says the faux Wonder Woman, "think you can stay out of my way, or should you stay here, watch, and learn?" The super-heroine looks at Diana, "I'm not sure you're in good enough shape to be of help."

Diana grows a bit miffed at that last comment. "Let's go!" she says.

"Hmph," thinks Diana, "when the going gets rough, the REAL Wonder Woman will have to save the day, and this bitch will see she's only a pretender."

"Follow me!" whispers the costumed lady.

They move through a hole in the fence and sneak around behind some tall weeds to the back door of the warehouse.
